@CAMARAO Thanks my friend. I actually work the same way, I draw my sprites in Gimp then i adjust the frames in a program very similar to Fighter Factory.

@ Chris Monvel Wow, your Nemesis looks Awesome and RE 3 Style Jill looks Great too, those sprites are Amazing/Beautiful and I for one am really happy that both characters will be playable as well
also happy to see Nicholai and Alexia on the villains row they are two of my favourite RE characters and I'm really looking forward to seeing how both characters turn out personally well done Chris Monvel and good luck with Nicholai and Alexia as well my friend
@ CAMARAO I am happy/glad that you like the Stinger (Giant Scorpion) sprite that I uploaded on page 9 my friend ..and I agree with you about making the sprite bigger as well
I am working on some other things for Fabry Taz at the moment though but I'll get around to it as soon as I can

@galactus Thanks a lot my friend! Well, Armin_iuf is the author of RE3 Jill, i just made some patches and new animations so all credit for the character goes to him But Nemesis is indeed a work of my own, he is like one of my babies XD
About Nicholai and Alexia they were both added because i noticed there were not enough playable villains.

@MatreroG Wow! That background looks really cool! Can't decide between green or purple Or maybe i can recolor the character bg area with the Umbrella colors. Do you have the original texture image so i can make some tests?
By the way guys this is how the roster will finally look in terms of playable characters, so there can't be anymore doubts about the cast. The displayed characters are the only RE ones available, Jill in her RE3 attire and Nemesis will be the only RE bonus characters. And like i said, the sillhouettes at the bottom are just guest characters not related to the franchise.

As some may have noticed i got absent for a little while because i temporarily stopped the project due to personal reasons. Everything seems to be good now and the game can get back on its roots.
I haven't work on any new character since the last update but i did some re work on the Character Select screen using the ideas @MatreroG suggested and i'm pretty satisfied with his design. What do you think?

dude, no offense in this, just hope it will make you make it all better, but you need to know more about shading. I mean, the idea is there, but the sprites, especially like the spiky creepy gray zombie and lisa trevor... they really don't look right, they look shapeless, to be completely honest. They look kinda flat. Look at Real Bout Fatal Fury series sprites, not just Capcom's style. Capcom style is cartoonish, it has only one shade, but that's not the point, the point is to give a proper feeling of the shape. It's not like you make the outline, add a little shadow and voilà you're done. Nope, unfortunely you need to think them as they're 3d, with perspective and a sense of depth which unfortunely your sprites lack off. Again, no intentional offense in this, just an attempt to make you more interested in your own work by raising the level of difficulty a little bit and making it all more interesting, more real.
I miss the good old days when the web wasn't filled with countless useless youtube videos, because I can't find the proper spriting tutorial, but I'd really suggest you to follow one... real life priorities aside, of course. But you know, art and life go hand in hand, so when you're stressed you can get out by spriting... but if you don't know spriting enough, then the result of the work won't satisfy you neither and in the end you'll quit ? So, take this suggestion as a feedback , not a critique

@JARRO77 Everything is ok, it was more of a sudden and unexpected issue. Thanks for the concern anyway
@mulambo What you're asking for is more of a desire than actual criticism, i decided to use Capcom's sprite style for the following reasons:
1. The Resident Evil franchise is owned by Capcom. Using other spriting style like SNK's wouldn't be pretty logical.
2. The art direction was chosen in such way to make the game look like if it was released in the 90s in the CPS2 arcade system
However every constructive criticism is welcome and i'll keep in mind taking a look to the sprites if re arrangements are required.
@galactus Thanks a lot my friend, the game's development has progressed pretty good since then. Here's a changelog regarding the most recent updates:
- Wesker fully playable. Special attacks added - Guest Character 2 fully playable. Special attacks added. - Chainsaw Majini boss added. - Majini Executioner boss updated. Sprites and animations re arranged. - Zombies' attacks improved. - Character select screen finished. - Majini Soldiers' attacks updated.
