New updates:
New updates: Added Hyper ports Split the intros, win pose, and liedead sprites -extracted the sprites -cut the sprites -human parts vs water parts Added sprites, anims, and code for the intros, win pose and liedead -adding transparency only for water parts Tweaked all Standing attacks to ensure chaining (low, med, hard) Tweaked all Crouch attacks to ensure chaining (low, med, hard) Tweaked the launcher (crouch hard punch) Tweaked stand hard punch (no longer triggers down forward down punch too) Wave anim - Get rid of fish Tweaked the water ball / double water ball moves -vel settings -may add so 1,2,3 water balls (low,med,hard) Tweaked the air drill -vel settings -drill hits multiple times -hitdef decrease damage per hit (now hits multiple times) -command (DD or DF both work in air) Projectiles made transparent (water columns for water shield) -some can't be as it turns the sprites black Tweaked the water shield -ground.vel and air.vel settings Tweaked crouch water attack (down forward C) -CMD re-triggered it over on movecontact Nohitby - hypers so can't be thrown

It is not the palette, it is the transparency levels.
This is with the proper transparency levels (default transparent vs non-transparent palettes 1 and 7):

Is it possible to lower the transparency level? It is too transparent to my eyes. If it is, I hope you would be willing to show me how.

It is fairly simple to change the amount of transparency within Hydroman, or simply use palette 7-12 for non-transparent.
To change the levels: 1. Open Hydroman in Fighter Factory (I use FF3) 2. Go to CNS (states) tab 3. CTRL+F (open find and replace) 4. In find box type "64,64" (without quotes) -current release is set to 64,64 5. In replace box type new level -try varying levels, some common ones are 128,128 or 256,256 -the levels can be different (example: 256,128) the most recent screenshot uses 156,106 for levels 6. Click replace all 7. Click States menu 8. Choose save 9. Click on the common1.cns 10. Repeat steps 4-8 for the common1.cns file as well

OK my Vacation is over and I'm back to work tomorrow. I managed to clean up most of the bugs in Hydroman although there is still a lot of work before he is perfect. There's a move list, hyper ports, corrected transparency, almost every move/special/hyper has been checked/tweaked, and much more.

Great improvements to Hydroman and l look forward to what is still planned. Regarding stage ideas, the lethal syndicate game use an edit of the battle harbor street fighter stage with Ken's huge yacht. Electro made a couple of awesome versions of that stage. I also like the idea of a water park type stage.

Great suggestions MatreroG, and I really like Juggernaut's port stage as it fits Hydroman background of working on a cargo ship. Plus I use another stage for Juggy anyways. If only there was an outstanding stage maker who was interested in adding some details to make it more unique for Hydroman.
