Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Injustice 2, the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The newest game in development from the award-winning NetherRealm Studios features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favourite DC characters. Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One in 2017.

Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. Every battle defines you in a game where players personalise iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.
Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favourites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. I don't want to look rude... but this trailer is not so impressive. Some details are better now, but in truth, it is just a first part of Injustice. And I really do not understand why they decide to make a second one? All these new "hypers" with armor are not work good in DC Universe... And why PS4 and Xone? Well... It is an early time to judge, but as for me, it will be not so good, as first game.

There was but real life probably got in the way and/or the creators lost interest. I remember that IHighGamerI had a very nice looking Atrocitus wip and Hypersonic had a promising Killer Frost wip but who knows now.
Mugen is funny in that way b/c years can go by without a good version of a character being done, and then all of a sudden two or more really good versions of that character are created around a similar time.
I guess it all has to do with a combination of motivation, interest, time, and skill necessary to create.

seeing the gameplay just reminds me how this game needs a better ost, to bad black manta is just a stage transition, he fits this new gear mechanic.

Not so good how to me... but it is a nice idea to customize your character. It is remind me Mortal Kombat Armageddon Kreate a Fighter mode. Maybe this game have a potential.
BTW, it is very sad that they are not announce the version for PC. The last one was very good.

Hey guys, I've been out the whole day, but I'd like to thank you for helping with the gameplay vids. BTW, here's more information:
Wonder Woman returns as a major player in the upcoming video game “Injustice 2,” the highly anticipated sequel in development by NetherRealm Studios to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2017.
I always think there’s a novelty to it and there’s a certain amount of people who think that when they see a guest character that it took the slot of a DC character that they wanted to have, but you know, Scorpion in Injustice was the most downloaded of all the characters. There was a coolness and a novelty factor to seeing the mixing of the things. Alien and Predator in Mortal Kombat X were the most downloaded of those, so I would be surprised if we didn’t do any of that.
Guest characters are likely to happen in this game (probably DLC).
