no, its without his updates, only mine bugfixes
DC vs Marvel did a great job, especially on fixes, but im personally not a big fan or repurposing existing sprites, it very rarely turns out good imo (the taunt and throw he did) so im sticking to my default version for now
ps. if you dont mind that taunt and throw, you better get his version since outside of that they almost the same +/- some preference or non-essential things (his version has more fixes though)
this updated link here is the same version with palette fix and Yolomate palettes i uploaded a while ago, this is just an old release topic people found where link was not updated to the newest version, this is NOT a new update guys, just link fix

Sorry for my english but... repurposing existing sprites? I got parts from ur spites and create some new sprites for Throw and Taunt in my photoshop and need to use also photoshop pencil to make parts fit by drawing very small details... so those sprites doesnt count as new? Are they repurposing existing sprites?
i just ask friendly so i will learn what we call new or existing. because i think existing is... lets say i got sprite 100,0 or what ever number and just use the same sprite in other anim.
I repeat i just ask friendly. And as already had say thx to ur realease i did my update.
Tnx again for ur good words... as they count much for me that im new at doing things with characters and not just download them

well man, technically speaking even 1 edited pixel makes a new sprite, and technically speaking one could say that all my sprites are repurposing existing sprites, since im reusing bison/cap america sprites as the base
but when in comes down to it, in my opinion, no. since in this taunt, hyper 1 can be clearly seen and special2 can be clearly seen in the throw, and these animations way too notable in the original moves, and changes are not too significant to make them distinct enough from said original, (they using the same body positions with the same tentacle positions and etc.) most of new animations should be done from the original base, with only occasional part reusage, or bigger part reusage only where it makes total sense to have the exact same movement, or with not very notable "neutral" animations, its my opinion. and i hope you understand that im not trying to go out of my way to critisize you, but just since people asking if im using your version updates or not, to make clear as to why not, and just trying to keep it real. other people seem to enjoy it, so it shouldnt really matter to you, if you like it yourself as well. but i will just not be using something i dont like myself, just to be a pleasant guy in the community, sorry. i not impose on or limit anyone in their creative vision, and dont want this to be done to me
and just to give an example, im sometimes doing similar things as well, like in sinister for his telekenetic slam special, heavy standing punch animation is completely reused, just with hand put in a different position, so this is also an example of sprites reusage, i would not call them new sprites either, and im pretty sure some people who have higher standarts than me, would be bothered by this, even thought im completely fine with it myself, since i feel like i try to only use it where it makes total sense for the character to do the exact same movement, and almost nothing different can be really done there also, but some people would also say its a cheap work. some people who handdraw characters would say using another character as a base is a cheap work, its just different levels man, dont think about it too much
ps. i thought you keeping it real, since youve said yourself it was a pretty quick patch, which, i mean, i think it is, so i didnt think this comment would bother you if im being honest. but since you just starting, i can understand that its not the best feedback to be encouraged, but as ive said, when asked, i will be an asshole sometimes to keep it real man. fixes part was great, additions i didnt like

a bigpimp question I wanted to know if to edit carnage for your game you contacted T.O.P.S or just credited him because I'm trying to contact him to edit his venom and carnage

no man, i didnt contact anyone (except Camo when i wanted to release 90s beast which used his private animations) and i didnt really edit carnage, pretty much just changed hybergbs, and switched around a few animations, and later, K99 edit was used for this with some moves reverted back to the original version. so ive done almost nothing on this character

youre a good guy, my man and have right attitude about it, its my opinion, you should just do what makes you happy and comfortable
ps. and yeah you guys probably will see me around alittle more, since my study scholarship had to be moved to next year, since the borders are still closed i found a job already, so i wont be around too much, but will probably finish some stuff i left unfinished

ahah, well, i guess everything has a bright side, right? in plans not that much man, mostly just some sinister and doc stuff, i want them to have 4 hypers each and more intros/winposes, ideally 3 of each especially for sinister, since he has just 2 attack hypers, and only 1 intro and 1 winpose, that part is pretty underdeveloped sinister to have more cape frames in specials, so it doesnt look so static, transfer some of your fixes to doc, and basically bring both those characters out of beta so they can be properly called 1.0 version
and maybe if Angelus releases his new venom and gartanham releases his symbiote spider-man update to incorporate them into spider-man mugen, i think those 2 characters are currently lacking compared to others, so it would be nice to have updated versions of them too
thats the plan man, not too much, and it probably will be a slow process, so nothing to the scale of past releases really
ps. btw here is a glimpse at a new intro, they really loved those trenchcoats in that cartoon, so i thought this one is a must:

Looking good - all cartoons have their favorite tropes! But this was a classic. Spectacular Spidey a close second/

yeah, i for sure remember scorpion, doc, shocker and spidey wearing them at the very least, but it looked cool and almost full disguise which can be dropped in a second, so makes sense ahah
and btw, off topic, i actually watched spectacular spidery already as an adult (sort of, around 20) and really liked it i didnt really like the animation style, compared to tas, but the story was very well written imo shame disney was cancelling stuff left and right back then

yep, only after it was done, it occured to me too there will be new movie soon, seems like he is wearing a trenchcoat in that one as well
