I agree. For me Kraven would be one of the few characters essential for mugen that's missing. But deanjo2000 one looks like it's about to make it.

Dude I saw this release yesterday, it was night here in Brazil, I was lying with my wife and visualized on my cell phone, as soon as I saw it I went down to turn on the PC and I stayed until midnight playing with it, congratulations and thank you my Friend, you is my hero!

I resolved this with Billy as follows:
On each hit (most of them) I inserted this code:
[State 200, 3] type = playsnd trigger1 = time = 1 && random <= 800 value = s2000,0+random%5 volume = 255 channel = 0
With it, you have 5 random attack voices to play, one of them is the mute voice so it doesn't get boring. I want to leave a demonstration:
Its become in 0:40 to 1:25, please pay attention in Billy voices in each movement.
You will see that for the SAME atack, he talk diferent. I think that this bring more life to character. You can make this with other things.

Not sure if it's just me? , But his voice sound's a bit on the low side..

thanks for the AI mention, i really wanted to make it decent, since it always bummed me out when a good character comes with no AI there is actually only 1 winpose for now, just with 2 diffferent laughs:) in general, intros/winposes were thrown in as a filler animations for now, for him to have at least something for the beta release, this part definitely needs updating with both him and mr.sinister (and i need to take a break) and i do need to balance the voices volume across all characters, true, but since im usually playing with sound off, i guess it is not bothered me enough i will try to come around to do it, thank you for the feedback
ps. and about head, you said exact same thing as Deanjo2000, but yeah it is suppose to be off-center slightly, it is made from t.hawk face, so i think its his default cheeks, as far as i remember (maybe i did some editing on them)

ahah, well, beta for me personally is everything, where i wanted to add something else and had a clear idea what, but was too lazy/busy to do it before the release in case of doc, its proper intros/winposes and throws and there is also a 4th hyper sprites already provided by Deanjo2000, where doc drives some mechanical machine (similar to Verz36 video), i didnt include that one because it needed some sprite work (since the machine sprites had enlargement by x2, sprites needed smoothing) and also the coding should be pretty complex for this one, as i can imagine, and im not a really experienced coder sadly
Haha yeah when I said a group of people I was thinking like maybe 2 people. One tentacle a person lol just some innocent by standards because I remember him carrying Aunt May in the movie and a dinosaur skull would be cool too

Woowww great character, the quality is awesome. and the tentacles of verz were excellent, very well done. The only thing that would change would be to reduce his power level (he takes a lot away with each blow to the opponent). I am eager to see future updates.

yep, Deanjo2000 was having some things with covid, hopefully he is alright

yep, well, the creation of this tentacle method and sphere and claw sprites belongs to x-boy actually, i think verz36 only fixed the colors, if im not mistaken but yeah, without that method, i doubt we couldve ever seen a doc ock done. i definitely wouldnt be taking on that endeavour drawing and coloring in all tentacles by hand, instead of just copy-pasting spheres over black lines, it is amazing how realistic that simple method makes them look, i agree
power, as in damage? i think most of the basics, specials and hypers are more or less balanced with other characters in terms of damage, but he just has an insane range, so maybe it is comes off as op. but i already got messages that people like him cheap, and that i shouldnt change that lol. i honestly kinda agree. i mean he is kinda of a boss.. guy
ps. i also want this version to make to a saltybet, our community doesnt have enough characters in A and S tiers lol

whoops. i guess im wrong on that, tentacles method was fully made by x-boy, i checked sandman readme only referencing x-boy for doc ock and colors already fixed there. so i guess credit to verz goes only for using this method and inspiration with his videos proving that it could be done on a large scale

I think I can say that you with your will power, effort and talent, represent the desire of everyone here about this character.
I think that's a real message about who the real community is.
It's clear that you felt good about the support we had here.
This is the real community. A family.
There are bad people, there are people who take a character, change a sound or a palette and call themselves creators.
There are people who erase your name and impersonate you.
None of these people are nice.
They cause frustration and headaches.
But Bigpimp, you proved that we can focus on the good side and those who support us
Thanks for not giving up. Or hiding somewhere because of these problems.
I would like Logansam, Magus, Black Dragon, Verz, Loganir, Scruffydragon memmbers and so many other artists to read this.
Not to criticize, but to say that there are good people in mugen and that they don't need to
give up because of toxic people. Don't let bad people destroy your dreams.
I respect everyone's private decision. I'm not asking someone to do anything. I'm just saying that everything has good and bad side.
The essence of good community is here. Mugen MMV is a big Family.
Everything we have on mugen today is because SOMEONE made it and made it available for download.
So if each one of us makes our contribution, the more the good side will grow, as well as the bad side.
The important thing is to focus on what really matters.
I think this character represents all of that. You Bigpimp, represents all that.
P.S: please, no polemics, it's just a message for all comunnity.

thank you man, maybe you are giving me too much credit, but i also really do hope more creators will be open minded as well i also dont want to go into this much more, i think most of what needed to be said, already was said
just a quick story what actually made me return and do some stuff. it is from mugen mk community there people had an original mk project (pretty buggy, without most features and fatalities, but it was being updated, original team was feeding people update videos over the years, not sharing anything disappearing and appearing agian, holding everything out, but since nothing better was available, it was the only original mkt shrine, only thing people were following, hoping it would release some day). and then a guy, borg117 appeared and he didnt fed any videos, he just took that original buggy incomplete project, and did an amazing thing with it, fixed everything, added all the characters, fatalities, interactive stages, battle plan towers, etc, etc, etc. he didnt put his name anywhere with bold font like "game by borg117", he didnt moleboxed or archived anything, fully supported all the edits, and in that community we finally had a fully customizable mortal kombat project we always dreamed of. sure there were many crap edits, some credit stealers, but for a few amazing stuff that came out of it, like fully playable quan chi, completely reworked characters with new combos and movesets, it was worth it trifold. im by no means compare myself to this guy, mine is just a small part here, in our large community, but the graditute i felt to this guy, finally making my childhood dream mkt game come true, i just felt we needed more people like this in our community as well. and then i came back.. people holding on to their characters, not allowing anyone to touch them or stalking and harrasing those, who honestly just tries to be creative, not credit stealing or anything.. just big contrast. i really do hope people will understand this a hobby, not a business. back in the day i was one of those who tried to impose "premission rules", even though most of MMV community thought mugen should be more free. now i do see, how selfish and petty it was. i really do hope more creators would see it this way too over time. it really seem that most of us grew up, over those 10 years, but not all have matured. just, you know, a thing that i wanted to share here and thanks man, our community support and your message means a lot to me

ahah, yeah, it was back in the day when we all played GTA San Andreas, and watched Don't Be a Menace to South Central and all us white russian boys became from the hood for a time, and that name just stuck from there. it doesnt really makes sense anymore, but its still good memories
