WOAHH!!! This is surprise. I didn't expect he will be released today!
Overall, he looks SICK! DAMN GOOD! He already goes beyond what you first planned for him as only a boss char to a nicely playable char.

Regarding voices, I believe it has been mention in the WIP thread that they haven't found good voices for Doc Ock. So they just go with whatever they found.

I felt a little more emotion during the blows because of the lack of speech.
 I felt the same with your Mr. Sinister.
 I resolved this with Billy as follows:
 On each hit (most of them) I inserted this code:Â

With it, you have 5 random attack voices to play, one of them is the mute voice so it doesn't get boring. I want to leave a demonstration:
Its become in 0:40 to 1:25, please pay attention in Billy voices in each movement.
You will see that for the SAME atack, he talk diferent. I think that this bring more life to character. You can make this with other things.

thanks you Splash, and yeah, i rarely use sound so i guess this part should be pretty underwhelming in the characters i coded, it is an interesting idea with random, i will remember and try to improve that part, thanks

thanks for the AI mention, i really wanted to make it decent, since it always bummed me out when a good character comes with no AI there is actually only 1 winpose for now, just with 2 diffferent laughs:) in general, intros/winposes were thrown in as a filler animations for now, for him to have at least something for the beta release, this part definitely needs updating with both him and mr.sinister (and i need to take a break) and i do need to balance the voices volume across all characters, true, but since im usually playing with sound off, i guess it is not bothered me enough i will try to come around to do it, thank you for the feedback
ps. and about head, you said exact same thing as Deanjo2000, but yeah it is suppose to be off-center slightly, it is made from t.hawk face, so i think its his default cheeks, as far as i remember (maybe i did some editing on them)

ahah, well, beta for me personally is everything, where i wanted to add something else and had a clear idea what, but was too lazy/busy to do it before the release in case of doc, its proper intros/winposes and throws and there is also a 4th hyper sprites already provided by Deanjo2000, where doc drives some mechanical machine (similar to Verz36 video), i didnt include that one because it needed some sprite work (since the machine sprites had enlargement by x2, sprites needed smoothing) and also the coding should be pretty complex for this one, as i can imagine, and im not a really experienced coder sadly

It is finally here! Thank you very much for the work you did, before I joined MMV as a creator (very amateur) as a casual MUGEN player I thought that Dr Octopus was the most difficult Marvel character to adapt here, but you did it and even better for everyone. Jobs like this make me inspire and work hard, really thanks BigPimp and congratulations!

Damn very sick spritework specially on the tentacle's very smooth animation
Finally people can enjoy a public Doc oc version
I tried him on game and wow his AI is super great! I thought Acey's Hulk had very tough AI but your Doc oc just beats him.
Your return on mugen is really outstanding for bringing us Villians that everyone thought would be hard to sprite and code. You are amazing
Funny because you never intended to make this character in the first place, only a sprite idea for Morbius and Doc oc I'm glad you decided to do and finish him all yourself.
Thank you! You're one of the creators that brings life to mugen and an inspiration to all.

Personally my feedback is just about
The dash backward in my opinion should be More Fast
Maybe would be cool try to give him some new sounds for the tentacle,Similar sounds in this way the attacks and moviments in this way you give him a more UNIQUE STYLE
You KILL MUGEN TODAY hope this release can INSPIRE alot of you keep creating in Mugen!!!! BigPimp show a new LEVEL of Creating

to be honest i was burned out like half way through, but you guys commenting on how much you wait for this one and the fact that i was promising the same with mr.sinister "dont worry, youll get him" and then disappeared for 10 years, leaving Dev and Arkady to finish him, is made me work through it this time and finish this guy soon, before the university starts. and im really happy you guys are having a good time with him
i had much more plans, even with this game, i wanted to adapt new moves for mysterio from Candido's update, adapt new moves for venom from Angelus version, morbius/vampires and lizard/minions attack minigames, expanding all small stages with multiple levels or stretching them across, pause movelist option, storyboards, i mean there are a lot that could be done still. just throwing those ideas out for anyone who would be interested in doing something with this mugen further. but i kinda feel burned out for now myself if im being honest, and university starts soon. but thank you very much guys, i hope our community will live on with many new amazing releases as well. i just dont want to promise much, but i will still be around, maybe just not as active
and after all, im still very interested in kraven we have going on here by Deanjo2000 that is probably the only last character i remember wishing to have when i just discovered mugen, and that is not done, (and i think never even attempted to the wip status before)
