MvC Apocalypse WIP

Still trying to work out the design for this wip. Still missing some details but here's the general idea. I am curious though about another base I saw a long time ago. I may try it before I continue with this one. I hope it works out mugen wise.

Pm bigpimp regarding apocalypse wip. Might have some ideas as he too started on some sprites

I should hope so, I am not sure if this wip will even be possible.

I can all ready see a lot of problems I will eventually run into.

I just hope the bases will work together without any problems.


@arkady,

I might not commit to this, the wip's pretty hard. I'm betting he's struggling with it to, I doubt I'll be much good. The key in this wip may be to find a better base?

Regarding the bases, you can use Abyss for his shoulders armor [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Maybe for his feet armor too.
You can use Thanos for the upper body or Monk with Hulk's arms.
Everything is possible.

Very good WIP. As for me, Thanos/Hulk base will be good for this one.

well to my knowledge bigpimp used a mixe of thanos and hulk, and hand drew the apocalypse extras

On stuff like this isn't a concern for me, the big issue is the bases working together, I can remake the shoulders but making one base look like it's a part of another base without looking incom[patible is the hardest part.

I am thinking to try only 1 base edit only. I think I saw a base in Fist of the North star, a character similar to APocalypse? Or maybe try Abobo?

I'm gonna try a few more animations and see if this will work or not.

I am using those bases, though I am also using Zangeif.

I hope to see his wip, i am curious what he's doing with his, if he does it better I will either improve my own to rival his edit or discontinue my own in order to have the best Apocalypse wip possible for mugen.








Ok, the next animation i have still needs work and touching up, but here's a walk animation. It's really hard to make this base work because it has some very hard edits in appearance.

For sure it needs a lot more editing. I will have to come back to this and see where I can make improvements.

I must explore another base as well, I feel this is too difficult to work.

looks good, bigppimp isn't making apocalypse, he was just making a few edits in hope to make a wip, i'm sure if you keep going you'll find a good formula with those bases

Turning animation.

Next set will be a crouching, turning crouching, and if there is any time, a jump.

The crouch has all ready been started several months ago when I first started this concept. Maybe years ago, I don't remember :S

Looks excellent so far. You should stick with these bases.
