Haunt: First time making a Character need help.

So this is my first time trying to make a character and I chose to make Haunt, My reason for choosing Haunt is due to a lack of Image, Dark Horse, and other independent comic characters (Not to say there are none), but the problem is I don't know where to begin can someone please point me in the right direction to a easy to understand tutorial. Also I'm thinking about turning this into a community character where whoever contributes gets credit and to help this character's development go a bit more smoothly. I hope to learn from the people in the community and any suggestions and/or criticisms would be appreciated.

Haunt:
A Merger of Catholic priest Daniel Kilgore and the ghost of his murdered secret agent brother, Kurt, brought together with ectoplasm. The two share a body and are in constant struggle for control.

welcome to the form im not sure who the character is but you can start working on any character by editing a kung fu man using a program called fighter factory it takes some getting used to but there are plenty of tutorials out there for it. also did you want to know about spriting?

Thanks for the suggestion I'll look more into Fighter Factory and try and find a tutorial that I can understand (I swear there should be a "How to make M.U.G.E.N, Chars for Dummies" edition). But now that you mention it I could use some help with coming up with attacks. Since I'm frankenspriting most of this, I'm kinda worried that the attacks will seem too much like Spider-man's and Venom's.

the sprites are good but seems a little shake, try the sprites always aligned, if you maintain the quality of the sprites will not be difficult to get a programmer

try changing the stance a bit so it does not resemble much with Spiderman

the lower halfe is good I sugest finding a better head and upper body the arms/hands r also good

Good luck in the wip. Try the edit the eyes, more "demoniac" aspect and scars in the face too

I was thinking the same thing at first, but I' want to keep the torso for now since I can't really think of a proper substitute that can pull off the same athletic movements that the Haunt requires. Haunt basically moves a lot like Spider-man in his book but I guess that's what happens when Todd McFarlane wants to draw Spider-man again.

then use batmans head u can do a lot with it shave the ears or use caps head that's what I used for my daredevil in my signature just change it up just don't use spidys head it just dosent look right but that's my opion

Haunt  

Thank you malevka1 for the cool character portrait. Looks like I need to get back to this project. I just got a new laptop and need to transfer a ton of files over.

And you should, cause you've been gone for, what? Almost year.
