MatreroG's Stages WIP Concepts

congrats! it's really good!

Since Skhsato123's last update on Ares (and considering that it was one of my favorites on Injustice Gods Among Us) it made me want to put together a background for him. I did not take into account a strong reference, rather several such as "The Areopagus Hill" from the pre-crisis comics, "The Bastion of War & Death" from DCUO and my whimsical interpretation of the character.

So this is going to be something like The Ares Domains:

Very nice, your stages always fit the character so well.

Looks great. Maybe some skulls on the floor would fit too.

i remember this stage in the precrisis comics it is fantastic i fell like i smell the odor of pages of comics of 80s
this is so sensational

When the stage is too cool and the character that should be in it is crap...

Aaawweee....I'm sure the Ares is probably very good

Another stage on the way. A warehouse or port area where Batman's C-class villains gather.
It will be a background with a logic similar to "Bar With No Name" but in the Gotham universe of DC Comics. The second level is going to be populated with cameos from lesser and unknown foes provided by Kimczi, again.

Im very curious how this time you will set the sprites, you are very good at posing and animating them what suprised me last time.

Yeah this stage is going to rock and I love cameos.

Love this concept, same as Bar With No Name. C villains finally getting some love. What happened with that beautiful Metropolis stage? I thought it is pretty much done

I imagine a weird secret meeting down there, which is interrupted when the roof collapses. So a scene of surprise, chaos and disorder seems appropriate to me where the villains are escaping or hiding behind the boxes.
