I think I have Arkadys Permission for Ant Man and the other AvX Characters, as he's working on the Sequel to AvX. I still have the messages.

Ark did not do all of the AvX characters though. You may permission for his however you need permission for the rest.

I don't believe permission is needed when releasing patches. He is now only releasing the edited files whilst still giving credit to the original authors. Everything he is doing is above board. My guess are the creators are probably relieved because now their inbox and release topics won't be flooded with people asking for win mugen patches
