Pls try to put transparency in that kind of effect during rhino charge It could be better to see all rhino power

I strongly disagree with this, sorry. The original MVC doesn't used it.

@Shining It just really comes down to getting used to it, I think Since both special and hyper now feels pretty different
The upper body during charge anim is static, so effect doesn't really cover any elaborate animation or anything, the sprite can be seen, and actually does make those moves feel more dynamic, adding movements to the upper body part, so I don't think it should be made less

hey guys, maybe some new ideas for venom/carnage/symbiote spider passive buff hyper effect? visual is covered, but what might be actual gameplay change? i don't really want to just make them faster/stronger, since symbiote in general gives that constant change, but rather something interesting that would make sense to symbiote characters
i had an idea to put autoblocking and auto combo chain on single punch/kick connect (similar to AI triggers, but as a timed buff) to kinda simulate that symbiote 'helps' to perform better, but not really sure, maybe there are better ideas, maybe there are some cool passive hyper effects, you remember from other chars?
ps. ok, i added the idea above for now for timed buff combo assists to all 3 symbiote chars. it is pretty fun and i guess really helpful, especially if the player himself not really good. but for experienced players who can do those 6-7 hit combos themselves, this would be pretty much useless

Turns out Giang actually took the slime effect from this Venom, link is in the description

thanks man, already implemented as a buff effect was alittle trickier than i thought, not just single explode, but helpers for some reasons, but its done
wish we had similar "buff" effect for carnage, i thought about making something like tentacle ball going crazy posed behind him to simulate as he sometimes depicted in the comics, but cannot do it neatly... but if someone knows something of that sort, please share

i like venom. but something i like to point out about venom. he can t make his body in to sharp thing like carnage. he only can do blunt things. the alien syn. takes on it s host. carnage is a killer so he can make spikes and cutting sharp axe like arms. venom can not. in the video shows that he can. that should not be. also his suit is a living being. if i was working on him, just change the sharp axe hand to a blunt arm. i understand it s what the artist makes, it s great to have him, but to keep it real. that would be thing i would change. keeps carnage and venom there own char.

@kain11 i didn't watch this video, but i think i know what you mean man. i didn't add any animation that has "axe hands", but default capcom might have those things that are not canon. but those capcom animations are too fluid, im not removing them
ps. i found buff effect for carnage guys, not perfect, but it is pretty good and fluidly animated (from twelve)

i understand what your saying. most likely was capcom. i was saying keep it real. like looks great , also his powers. it would be like giving powers to fly. when we know he can only swing. lol as for capcom. they get payed to rush out char, when they don t look at what the char can do. aside from that. i really love your work.

im pretty sure they just tried to make him cooler, you know, i honestly wouldve also preferred they kept it canon, but they made it pretty cool nethertheless imo
