I consider that differentiating the bag and the glider for the hobgoblin is important, the shining reference photo is a great idea for that! I think I would just add that face to the hobgoblin glider and I'd be good to go.
Regarding his voices, I think I could help you with that, I don't know what day of the week but I'll make a space to look for the voices of both elves, so count on it!

Yes guys, I did a little research and it seems that in comics both goblins used both 'bat' and 'square' shaped gliders
But hobgoblin bat glider always has that little face with horns That is a really good idea, and easy to implement
Regarding the bag, same thought crossed my mind... But why not have it? He has this bag in both comics and tas. And it would actually be more time consuming to not have it, since instead of just copy pasting, covered part of the waist belt would have to be redrawn for his sprites

@Jspiderman And thanks man, I'm not really well versed in voice lines since I usually play without sound, so it will be much appreciated

https://www.sounds-resource.com/pc_computer/legomarvelsuperheroes2/sound/12874/ I didn't find the Hodgoblin per se, but it's close enough without being the real Green Goblin and/or an existing character. Maybe that will help (plus it has usually multiple languages, so it could help you translate the lines to help you if English isn't your strong chord)

Don't worry, I get that, I had the same problem with Sea King's (DC) voice, it was too silly [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] But I modified the sound a bit (lowered the voice, slowed down the phrasing, cut some over-the-top sounds), and it's a little better now. Maybe it could work here if needed. You could also put an effect on the voice to deepen it, like I did with Clayface, who's DCUO voice was not threatening enough.

hey guys, so this is what i came up with the updated look result pretty much just resized dr.doom bag + belts. and since both goblins use pretty much the same set of sprites, once GG is done it would be just a matter of copy-pasting it to Hobgoblin
only thing that maybe i dont like is hobgoblin glider, looks kinda cheap, undetailed? do you guys want me to replace it with GG glider instead? or maybe someone will be able to suggest example update for it?
another matter, sounds should be replaced if someone can provide voicelines, from spiderman video games it would be great hobgoblin to my knowledge has voicelines from shattered dimensions game only, but he can just use green goblin voicelines from a different game (just would need to exclude clips where he mentions 'green' or 'Osborn'). i think it would work
This is very good, I prefer the differentiated gliders, and both goblins with bags, that characterizes them very well

eh, its not really the pitch or speed of the voice but its more the intonation, since its a lego game, i guess the actor was hired to have intonations of a green goblin if he was more like a Teletubbies villain. you know, he is ending the phrases with more of a "offended" or "upset" intonation rather than "angry". if that makes sense
in any case there are much better voice acting for green goblin, there are voice comparison videos on yt. so ill just either wait for someone to drop those or extract those myself instead. in any case its not a rush, thanks

hey guys small test update for spider-man recently discovered that many capcom characters have some frames missing turns out capcom cut frames for MVC2, and many mugen chars are based on Kong's anims which are ripped from MVC2... coincidentally, when researching this, stumbled upon topic at mugenguild, where author named "Violin Ken" just a week ago restored those missing frames for spider-man!
spend a few hours transferring those to Zvitor's spider-man. here is the result (did skip blurred get hit frames though):
literally every basic attack has at least 1 additional unique frame (in some cases 2-3) some movements, like dashes and jumps and most get hits have additional shaking frame
you can see difference on examples here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
so far it seems that all COTA characters (12) and MSH characters (+10) have some of those frames missing if mugen version is based on MVC2. now i would have to go through every of my x-men capcom chars to figure it out. bothers me alot. venom seems not be affected by this cut
ps. also included new better ai, so spidey actually has more than 50% chance of beating villains now
