well, credit goes to Violin Ken for those i just adapted it to Zvitor spiderman....
did my research on COTA and MSH chars guys. seems that most mugen versions of chars have those little cuts. many project/avx chars, almost all Kong chars.. just most mugen chars in general, since most of them are based on MVC2.
Wolverine by Sander seem to be full, as well as Sentinel by Xslaught, Spiral by Luchini seems to be almost full minus few gethits Buckus Cyclops is not sadly in general, been prowling on MA website to find versions of those x-men characters that will be full, disregarding the quality of char itself, as long as it has all cota animations, to adapt them into chars in my x-men compilation
found everyone except silver samurai it seems. but Kong actually have ripped COTA sprites section on IMT (not sure why he didn't use those), so everything is doable
ps. all post MSH chars like venom/rogue/gambit/sabretooth/cable seem to be not affected by this issue

quick update on the progress guys so, after dissecting the lethal syndicate video, and also adding my own things, goblin update became much more thorough honestly almost none of the old frames left untouched, and unique sprite count pretty much doubled
so, with difficulty of recreating hobgoblin handdrawn cape which is used in the current version i would have to actually sack the current hobgoblin completely and add cape/head/pirate boots to all updated green goblin sprites. he will inherit most of his unique specials/hypers from old hobgoblin but no old sprites will be used
not sure if those are good or bad news, but thats just how it would have to be. magneto cape is currently used in the example i personally like it more actually

honestly this goblin update turned out to be almost like a new char wip, but really want to do it Hayato base just provides so many new cool animations
one def good thing that could be easily done with new sprites though, since all those elements are copy-pasted, is color separation to mimic his dual-colored tas suit:
