thanks man
eh, i tried it, but that scale parameter distorts the quality somewhat lines become crooked, double-pixeled, some pixels disappear, etc. maybe its not that apparent at first, but if you put the same character, one version upscaled and other 1:1 right next to each other, the difference is pretty noticeable just doesnt work good on capcom shaded characters imo (works perfectly on mk classic characters though). but in any case, this option is always available
but to more good news, all required sprites are actually done, both lizard and minions, only thing that missing are toenails on lizard sprites (still looking for maybe a better base? for now using Tyrog from dinnosuars and cadillacs, if anyone has ideas, please share), and intro animation (turning from connors)
for connors i guess i will have to use the same character most hulk authors already used for banners:
and hopefully will be able to make a smooth transition since bases are the same now! (hopefully)
Awesome, perhaps you should remove 1 or 2 pixels to make his human form thinner than his Lizard form
Good tip, but I think he already done that.

yep, he actually went through 3 different stages of thinning, i was making it, thinkin "just not overdo it" then looking at it, and "no, needs to be thinner still" lol
but i did another one right now, 4th one, and i think it did made him look better guys, and not overkilled it yet removed maybe like 3 more pixels from his shoulder and 2 and 1 from each leg, i think those were problematic but i dont think he needs to be any thinner than that?
just what it was in the beggining to current one for comparison: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
it is important to decide on this one right now since i want to remove 1-2 pixels less for each next animation frame to make a smooth "build up"
we have what final frame of transformation should be:
and if thats a good starting "human" frame i can go from there (and hopefully add injection anim before that transform anim too)

You don't get enough credit for that coat. Sometimes coats are harder to sprite than capes. Nicely done.

eheh, thank you, but this time its actually gambit's man, just slightly edited) but it did fit in nicely) and from the first try too)
hopefully i can finish and release minigame by this sunday, not so much left but its just minigame for now guys, i see people dropping unexpectedly many likes for such minor release
he can be possibly turned into boss-type character with not so many additional frames actually but turning him into full char.. that leap would take alot more sprites and time
but lets see minigame first

it is these transformations that are the most difficult to animate, as it seems to me. You have "in-between" shots here. When a character is no longer using their base form, but has not yet evolved into their final form. I've always found these frames, with their reshaped and out of proportion, to be the hardest. Looks great. You kept the graphic style of CAPCOM and the vibe of the Spider-Man TAS.
