I know it until recently I was searching for information about fighting game after seeing pro players playing fighting game in a serious level and was wondering how do they play so professional unlike me who only knows how to spam projectiles only and that was how I came across the word "footsies". Gootecks is the first guy who came out with the word "footsies" if I am not wrong

normally characters with counter moves like Geese Howard would usually gives footsies' characters problem if the player can predict their opponent's moves accurately

Well, both Wang Pairon and Juri Han have projectiles to deal with melee counters like that...
But KOF XIV Luong has no projectiles..........
.....can easily beaten up by Geese Howard's melee counters.....
