1.0 or 1.1? What Mugen Version Are you Using in 2016 and why

Hello everyone, Big Mysterious here.
I am new to the Multiverse, and would like to get to know the Mugen community here better, so I am curious how everyone is experiencing Mugen in 2016.
I am curious to see if there are more people using Mugen 1.0, or Mugen 1.1 in the multiverse community - and also, I would like to know their reasons for it.

I will start - I only use Mugen 1.1.
I changed from Mugen 1.0 to Mugen 1.1 in 2013.
My reasons for changing from 1.0 to 1.1 are:

1) 32bit png image support
2) zoom function
3) Better performance when using HD resolutions (ie 1280x720)
4) Extra features like interpolate blend/interpolate angle etc for sprite rotation anims etc
5) It is backwards compatible with all 1.0 content

I use 1.1 mainly because of the zoom function and the better performance.

NEWER IS USUALLY ALWAYS BETTER! in my opinion. haha For the simple fact that the newer version usually always corrects any bugs or glitches that the previous version has/had..plus 1.1 has an AMAZING zoom feature.

Well that is excellent to hear from you all that 1.1 is your mugen of choice.
Unfortunately on some other mugen websites of a guildish nature that shall not be named, the attitude towards mugen is very ignorant and alot of people are still stuck using 1.0 - too bad they are missing out on all the mysterious glory that it has to offer.

Yes skorp, the zoom sure is fantastic, and it makes the fights much more interesting, and cinematic.

I´m sorry for be the boring guy but I use the 1.0 version my complains are:

1. I dont know is that version (1.1) runs well for lower pcs... (like 1g Ram and corel duo 2.5gz) Wink

2. Lazy for take all the stuff in other folder (more than 10 g) riiiggghhht

But I thinking of changing for the "new" one, because I tried some stages 1.1 and work in 1.0, obviusly not at all, and "change" (only saving the .sff in 1.0 format 1.0 or 1.1? What Mugen Version Are you Using in 2016 and why 311127478

My real doubt is like stages like Alice works runs properly with these low pc or something like that:

This Ultrazoom is just wow affraid

It would be great to see this in 42' or 50' tvs

All you have to do is copy and paste your char folder and mugen.cfg file over and your done..it's not hard at all. lol

Well its funny you mention that, because I asked myself that same question, but then I realised that everyone would expect that I was, which would not be mysterious at all..... What a Face

That is so mysterious that you posted this video here.....
I literally talked to that stage creator yesterday his name is Phantom D from
Newagemugen. He is my very long time mugen friend.
They are also members of private group of mugen creators that make very high quality mugen 1.1 content - we have some unreleased marvel vs capcom stages projects for 1.1 that we were working on together. They will also have ultra zoom so look forward to that because we are discussing finishing them for release here on the mugen multiverse as a public release.

I can see now more MUGEN creators/authors are making MUGEN1.1 only stuff. I use MUGEN1.1 only for those MUGEN1.1 only stuff. When I make MUGEN stuff and play MUGEN, I still use MUGEN1.0 and MUGEN1.0 only.

I don't really have problem with MUGEN1.1 in particular, except that some MUGEN1.0 (and some old winmugen) stuff have some errors in MUGEN1.1. By the way, something is broken as usual both in MUGEN1.0 and MUGEN1.1. Let's hope Elecbyte some day comes back and provides us a more complete MUGEN engine!
