Heh, I have a lot of superheroes, and actually a lot of sprites already (I posted them on IMT's site, but hey, may as well here, too):
These characters, in order of appearance, are:
Sparkle (sprite created from the MMV Hulk) - super strong whose strength, durability and size increase with strong emotions, though her intelligence decreases at the same time. No "Bruce Banner" form, though base form weaker than the Hulk (but smarter, though still with a learning difficulty)
Supertrans (sprite created from Supergirl) - me as a superhero, possessing Superman-like powers, but more weaknesses (all extreme radiation, magic, mind control, electricity)
Astral (sprite created from Superman) - has the ability to astral project into a form that can fly, has super strength and durability
Flame Thrower (sprite created from Firestar) - pyrokinetic (localized in her hands), can fly, resistant to extreme temperatures
The Swimmer (sprite created from Fire) - able to make the air like water, so she can swim through it, but also be able to make it so fleeing criminals are like they're running in deep water (slow them down considerably)
Eiderdown (sprite created from Birdy) - controls feathers, can turn her body composition into entirely feathers, can create feathered wings in order to fly
The Runner (sprite created from the Atom) - part of an undersea race and has the ability to withstand pressure and temperature extremes, which makes him the only member of his race to come to the surface. No powers besides that (not even able to breathe air), so uses undersea technology in a fight
Multiblades (sprite created from Ten) - able to create jagged, rock-like shards from the air
Michael (sprite created from the Atom) - able to create the same rock-like substance as Multiblades, but he can only cover his body with it (and she can only create the shards)
Pinball (sprite created from Dr. Manhattan) - able to create portals to other worlds
Rearranger (sprite created from the MMV Wonder Man) - able to manipulate subatomic particles (my most powerful character, mind)
Split (sprite created from Kitty Pryde) - can trap the souls of the recently deceased into her body, where they have the ability to take control like an alternate personality, replete with the powers they had in life. Can also rip the soul from someone's body
Dispawn (sprite created from Hulk 2099) - half-dragon, with the ability to spew fire, winged flight, immunity to extreme temperature, enhanced durability, enhanced strength
Arianna (sprite created from Invisible Woman) - human-sized fairy with telepathic powers and limited magical knowledge
B.A.D. (sprite created from Batgirl) - telekinetic who dresses like a ninja because she was going to a costume party when her powers emerged and she stopped a bank robbery, making her debut as a superhero in said outfit (but not a ninja in actuality)
TNT (sprite created from Scorn) - my version of a public domain character. Has a gun that fires atomic energy in the source, has updated for my version to be able to fire blasts from her gloves and uses said energy from her boots to fly
Electric Ray (sprite created from Plastic Man) - another version of a public domain character. Actually an electric entity that took on the identity of a dead man. Is electrically charged, can phase through matter and fly
Amazona (sprite created from Wonder Woman) - yet another public domain character for my version. From a race of people that secluded themselves from humanity in the Arctic, has superhuman strength and is highly versed in combat strategy
Koi Lusa (sprite created from the Flash) - public domain character again (the version in the public domain is called Black Panther). No powers, but skilled fighter and strategist
Wonderson (sprite created from Astonishing Cyclops) - public domain character yet again (originally Wonder Man). Has a ring that lets him manipulate gravity, which he instinctually uses to amplify his strength, speed and durability
Marksman (sprite created from US Agent) - another public domain character. No powers, but has trained himself to be the perfect marksman
Jaguar Man (sprite created from the IMT Batman) - what do you know, another public domain character. Cat-like powers of agility and enhanced senses, also a speedster, which he attributes to being like a Cheetah, despite it not really working like that
Tempore (sprite created from Captain Universe) - a guardian of cosmic order, his morality is not "good" and "evil", only caring that things progress as they should, and that no agent try to change things. Flight, energy blasts, energy constructs, enhanced healing, and teleportation by use of portals
Red Mind (sprite created from Spy-Dama) - a telepath, telekinetic and precognitive (but can't see his own future)
Protean (sprite created from Namor) - metamorph that can change into non-humanoid mythological creatures
Noggin (sprite created from CrusaderCast's Scarlet Spider) - telepath (minor character of mine)
Technica (sprite created from Agony) - technopath (another minor character)
Fractal (sprite created from the Kyle Rayner edit of Tomar-Tu) - able to create evergy constructs (a la Green Lantern) that have a fractal pattern for color. Height, weight, age, race, hair color, eye color, sex, and pattern on each piece of the costume are all constantly shifting
Ebony (sprite created from a sprite in Vixen's sff) - late creation to finish the public domain characters, this is Jaguar Man's companion, a black panther who has the intelligence of a normal human
Locomotive (sprite created from Wonder Woman) - enhanced strength and durability that increases as she moves. Light super speed
Fires of Hell (sprite created from the Human Torch) - granted the power of Hellfire in order to bring damned souls to Hell. Despite origins, not evil (though not rebelling against Hell, either)--only goes after those that deserve it
Heat (sprite created from MMV's Human Torch, with the head fire from Firestorm) - part of a team of elemental-powered siblings. Obviously the pyrokinetic
Whallop (sprite created from the older version of Puck) - in peak physical shape and avid bodybuilder, carries a weight bar around that he uses as a fighting staff
Bear Man (sprite created from Beast) - super strong with some animalistic abilities, such as lightly enhanced senses
American Cowboy (sprite created from the IMT Captain America) - hailing from the Old West, has a healing factor that has kept him alive to the present day
Hurricane (sprite created from Catwoman) - another of the elemental team, the aerokinetic
Gaia (sprite created from Catwoman) - Hurricane's identical twin, the earth-controller
Bolt (sprite created from Mystique) - former up-and-coming Jamaican track star, now corporate-sponsored superhero speedster
Poltergeist (sprite created from Hope) - my Robin of sorts, a former gymnast and multi-millionaire
Wonder Super (sprite created from Hal Jordan) - my Superman of sorts, has all the requisite powers but also medium aware
Sucrosa (sprite created from Bionic Woman) - can control sugar. Doesn't consider herself a superhero but fell into it due to dating Bolt
Madame Fatal (sprite created from Rorschach) - another public domain character, but not in the same category of the others, who are a team. A man that disguises himself as an old lady, my version uses accessories disguised as something an old lady would carry around in order to fight crime
Wave (sprite created from MMV's Human Torch) - fraternal twin of Heat and the final member of that team, the hydrokinetic
Black Wraith (sprite created from the Legends Batman) - my Batman of sorts, dark avenger of the night, but I don't like to say too much because who the character is is the mystery of the character's first story arc
Silveron (sprite created from IMT's Rogue) - enhanced senses and able to create silver weapons at will
Blue Flame (sprite created from Hydra Attacks) - pyrokinetic whose flames are blue, my only superhero who was active as such before their powers manifested
And that's where I currently have left off on creating sprites for my characters. I have more, but that's a lot right there. Flame Thrower is actually the one I'm closest to (interestingly enough, considering everything with Supertrans). Sadly, I don't think her sprite turned out all that good.
None of these are WIPs, though. For one, these are all edits of other MUGEN creators' sprites, but also I want to create the sprites myself--my own art, rather than editing somebody else's sprites to make my characters.
