This past month or so I've been working on cutting down my music list, I went from 680 songs to just 100 now.
I tried and narrowed down the very best for me and I ended up with only 1 Mario theme out of all the games out there fro m nes, snes, n64, gc, gba, and wii.

It screams Mushroom kingdom finale, like you just arrived at the entrance to your final destination to go up against the fight for your life and the fate of your world. When that part comes up at around 0:45 you feel like you're hearing a weeping world that's trying to speak (♫ "Don't! Give! Up! ♫ )to you through song. It also has a kind of military beat so it feels like a campaign where you're really giving it your all.
Spectacular track, truly my favorite Mario theme!
