omg I can see this character going take long a long time to be 100% playable and a a lot of fixes. I think you should redo the sprite. and fix a lot the animation for it that for sure. all in all, is nice working in progress

maybe I can give you some suggestion and redo the sprite but it's up to you and you can use this as your base and work around sprite edit draw with this character make look better and work on the animation more

Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel sprite and redraw the sprite a bit and look good


and use acorn and re sprite to make a better effect  becuase your acorn dont look so good
you can scale this acorn sprite a lot better and redraw the sprite for it and give a transparent green


here i made a sprite acorn by using that sprite sheet


now for the big portrait need some work so I figure I help you with a new ch'p portrait you can use this instead that one ur using now


let me share my though and opinion and feedback on it what I seen so far

I feel like you rush it, and you take the time of making the portrait right

the Chip idea for the sprite is okay but don't look so well may new change can help make look better using new sprite and redo work

My thoughts
I love what you're CH'P IS GOOD IDEA but need more love and more work time I understand it's just a working in progress and not full version, but a lot of the animation does need more work and attention

I still making a lot research and reading comics to  some ideas for every chars...
