Before that, Altus JP has released a mini "Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey" action game called "Shin Megami Tensei Synchronicity Prologue" for free.

I think this free mini game is for a promotion purpose.  Highly recommended to any "Shin Megami Tensei" fans!

I have played this free mini game and I like it very much as I am small a "Shin Megami Tensei" fan (small = I have only played up to all Nintendo Super Famicom "Shin Megami Tensei" and the last Strange Journey one).  And I just try to mugenize a simple stage out of this "Shin Megami Tensei Synchronicity Prologue" free mini game.  I have chosen the source game stage #3, the "shopping mall" for a stage mugenization.

I included the main characters, Jack Frost & Jack O'Lantern, as well as some old-school "Shin Megami Tensei" demos like Pixie, Goblin, Slime, Sudama, Itsumade, Black Frost, Shop Keeper, and a "hanging-herself" demo which is unknown to me....

In the source mini game, both Jack Frost & Jack O'Lantern try to rescue a programmer and to fight their way to meet Black Frost, who is the main final boss.  In this MUGEN stage version, I tried to make Jack Frost & Jack O'Lantern attack Black Frost, when Black Frost feels too annoyed, it turns into a giant big Black Frost outside the shopping mall window, then come back inside to see Jack Frost & Jack O'Lantern again.....(lameness detected...)

Shin Megami Tensei images were one my all time favorite online weird online mmo back in 2006. I did not knew about it when the game when I started playing it on the playstation 2 in 2003. this is so original and yet wort keeping. nice work you did there borewood2013

Thank you, while Shin Megami Tensei can be called a "dark RPG", it does have some cute contents...
Also, the Jack Brothers (Jack Frost & Jack O'Lantern) seem to be Atlus' icon now.

I don't play any online games like the Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine MMORPG at all outside China..........because I have been using some outside China VPN for very long years and my VPN provider asks me to avoid playing online games.
The Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne on PS2 in 2003 was awesome and new in those times, but I prefer the old-school Shin Megami Tensei series (I, II, if....) on SFC and the newer "Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey" on NDS more though........
I know Shin Megami Tensei V is coming, but I will never have a Nintendo Switch to even try it out.....
