Continue or Restart?

Continue or Restart?

in case servimg not working for you...:

I mean that, when you lose all of your lives in video games, do you usually continue (if available) or restart (to try to master every bit from the ground up)?

Or it depends?   Well, this is my case. 

Like, when I play fighting games, when I am defeated, I try to continue because of the desire to revenge.
When I play shooting games, when I am defeated, I try to restart because I want to master every level, plus sometimes it takes a fully-powered-up ship in order to be able to finish.
When I play role playing games, there is no way to restart....unless there is no continue option, yet it is quite rare.

I know this may be a silly question to ask, but I just want to see whether there are anybody who can be brave enough to really restart only, upon every time he/she/it sees a "Game Over" in whatever video games......

So, what is your case now?

continue as i'd hate to lose the progress up to that point if possible
