| As far as I know MUGEN is using a special sprite index for the char select screen - the #9000,0 index for the small portrait and the #9000,1 index for the big portrait. You may try to get any frame from that GIF and then replace the original #9000,0 or #9000, 1 index sprite in the SFF file to see......  Are you using Fighter Factory? If so then please post a screen shot of your Fighter Factory in which you were trying to replace the char select screen portrait(s)?  | |
