Nah, not an Iron-Man Edit. We need to make this completely original. That being said, we should NOT take any sprites from the CrusaderCast database and put it here, it feels very disrespectful to do so. I say color-seperate it, but we shouldn't use Zvitor's seperation, just out of respect and to further differentiate from Iron Man. I'll see what I can do about the stance. I'm working on a concept as we speak. why is it a bad thing to use iron man towards edits? not doing so limits possibilities and may limit people getting involved. and the most important thing is getting involved. who knows who might be inspired to get more into creation. i'll give you an example, flammableking basically got his start in creation by submitting things to the modok forum wip. and we've already had someone else step up in ghost killer who has not been known for working in comic characters. i get how there is a thought to make him more unique, but i think can use the iron man edits with credit and still find a way to make unique as predator's concept proved. also, i don't get why using sprites from the sprite database CC would be a problem either. they didn't make all those, they just collected from whereever mostly. i should know, i was the one that set up the organization of it initially. did it because marvel outsider (old mugen site) died/had their database die. not to mention, they are just single sprites for reference anyway. | |

| well, let me finish my concept for war-machine. Ghost Killer can submit a sample as well. we can pitch ideas on to the table. I wanna make him feel like the way he was supposed to be in MVC, which means I'l sprite his modular armor instead of the modern one I previously did for MSH Reborn. which is this one: I already made an edit of this one and added a WAY better mettallic shading, but that was just for show, this is his final look for MSH reborn. So I wanna make this alternate version a MVC-Artwork-like one that is mixed with some new concepts. | |

| how about this...
2 versions. a forum wip like suggested, you involved as much as you want to be. and then your unique version that you take the lead on and can obviously use things form the forum wip version resources that don't make the cut if you want. | |

I actually want these appearences for our War Machine: We could have them both if we implement a smart pal and use in-game helpers for the cannons. Idk about everyone else though. We should probably have a vote on this or something. | |

And it's a good idea volz, but I'm already involved with 6 W.I.P's right now, so I will have NO time for one where I take the lead. | The appearence on the left matches the MVC artwork almost perfectly: This would definitely be the best base/reference to use for the project, albeit with some slight modifications. | |

| my concept uses UMVC3 Iron-Man's stance, traced from screencaps and modified ofcourse, and will match the artwork almost perfectly, so you can base it off that if you want once I finish it. | |

| People, I can help you with his legs. It will be very easy to change them, if we use smart palette technique, how I had did with Superman Beyond. So it is possible to done it and we can get really good War Machine.

| yeah, i dont know why people don't really change the legs so much lol. well, my war-machine concept is almost ready. I had to look through literally hundreds of his sprites to get reference on how to make his shading exactly MVC accurate. this is why CPS2 is way harder than CvS, the shading has to look good while keeping a severe color-limit in check. | |

| I would be very happy to code this in fact.
Something to keep in mind. if you look at the wip preview you can see why they gave up. Thesprites look good but his moveset was very poorly planned.
I believe that's why they discontinued him. he just wasn't functioning well. | |

| but the one i want to sprite for MSH:R is the CvS Modern one remember? lol I like to keep them 2 seperate, think of them like 2 different realities.
I'm even spriting this War-Machine using a mixture of Scratch-work and Edited-work. The stance I have in mind is actually scratch, minus the head, I'm just adhering to the CPS2 shading an color-limit so it looks legit, | |
