SPRITING:
You get to mold, shape, and create any kind of being from your imagination, and show the world how creative you are. OvO It's like giving people access to your mind! And, because it's in Mugen...it's no cost to you or anyone else to freely express yourself through your art! =D
CODING:
So much can be done with the coding process of characters! You can make an ice cream truck scream as it blasts a green lazer from its nose, whilst Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard plays in the background! xD Coding is what also brings your hard work to life. Ax and Ryon would know alot about it. ^^ Ax took Jatz into his arms, and gave him everything he needed to be a functional and playable character with combos, a special, and a hyper. Ryon does not like working with big characters, but he took Buck-Dozer and made him into something better than I was expecting! O.O I just wanted one giant rock to appear when he slammed the ground, but Ryon would never accept such lazy coding... He made a whole bunch of rocks spawn at once, taking the opponent for a fatal ride to Hell! These are just small examples of the many things that coding can do for your characters... Mugen's creativity holds NO bounds! You could make a full-length MOVIE with Mugen!!
THE END RESULT:
Isn't all the hard work worth all the support you get afterward? YES! And, even if people don't support you, don't you dare quit any of your projects! You're depriving the world from entering your mind! CVS Artist feels as though she should quit her Soul Calibur project due to a lack of supporters... When you see something like that, you encourage them with everything you got to make sure they don't abort a project that many people are looking forward to! I'm talking, offer sprite assistance; offer to help with coding; ANYTHING! Help! That! Person! It could save the lives of many stages, characters, screenpacks, and projects!
