hey guys, working on spider-man mugen as a priority but recently watched amazing x-men 97 show i had a renewed desire to do some work on mine and Dev's Mr Sinister and update him:
-1 new hyper added -2 new intros added -2 new winposes added -sound, sprites, code, ai fixes -files clean up
"I know your genes, Jean." Thanks for this impressive update Big Pimp especially with everything else you are working on. By the way, your Xmen game just about fits perfectly character-wise with Xmen 97.

thanks guys not to diminish the quality of this update, but it was literally done in 1 day lol i finished watching x-men 97 and sat down the whole Sunday from morning till evening trying to add all the things he was missing turned out pretty good i think
in any case spiderman mugen update is up next, before i do anything else x-men related but i do actually want to return to this x-men mugen after and fill in all the gaps sort of speak and release this eventually
new hyper is inspired by this btw:
although toned down to be doable in mugen

I freaking love this update definetely you give it alot of cool stuff
Love the new stand and all the improvements you give to the character
As always you prove again you are one of the BEST in mugen world thanks bro for this update
Awesome did you also remaking Cyclops that sprite just looks different if you do focus more on x men later work on blob and toad and add pyro and avalanche and maybe some x force with feral and Domino you could also add x factor and remake Polaris and havok in their x factors clothes

I'd echo what others are saying. An already quality character just got even better. Love the new hyper and the look and feel of the character. Also, REALLY like that you no longer consider it a Beta. It never was, but I guess that's what makes you the creator you are.
Looking forward to Spider-man's updated game!
BTW - did you have a personal favorite character? In the comics and in MUGEN?

You might also consider the way he moves and dashes during the Jean fight.
Where is moving through shadow puddles
Maybe add it as a dash or teleport
Probably wouldn’t be too hard
Blackened the pal and use the venom rush and duo from king of fighters for reference
@crosspotts1.0 cyclops just has color separation patch applied to him, the sprite is otherwise a regular sprite as far as i remember. i wish all those chars were available in jim lee costumes and high quality too, but remaking/updating any of those would be just way too much work. maybe avalanche and x-factor Polaris are not that difficult, but i dont see a point in them without pyro blob or rest of the x-factor honestly
@DeleFresh thanks) yes. sinister and doc ock are actually my favorite characters. design wise at least
@warecus@dev yeah, i was thinking about that as well. i remember sentry had a hyper where it melts into a shadow, but that animation turned out not really fitting. i will check out duo. i think there is also guilty gear char that has similar moves

Guilty gear might be better
Also if you check out zvitor’s infinity war game, I sprited a sinister as an assist character.
When he appears on screen he grows out of a mutated like plant (taken from tas where he placed those weird plants with teeth on Jean and cyclops when he captured them) maybe you add something similar as a trap to give some more move variety
Or take a cue from my scarlet witch where she turn (hex) the opponent into a animal, maybe you can use the code give sinister a move where he mutates player 2 into something for a short duration for free hits
