Hello. I just want to share an idea that I've been thinking about for a while.
What do you guys think about having a sprite event on this forum?
What it entails is that we can have a new "theme" each week, and we as a forum/community can get inspired, motivated and creative in making just normal sprites, it can be a standalone sprite, an animation if you get really motivated or something.
Example: Theme this week is "Alpha Flight", then if you want to participate you can create ANYTHING that is releated to Alpha Flight, like it's members, their villains, etc.
It can be like: X-Men week. Batman rouges gallery. Black Panther universe. Members of S.H.I.E.L.D, etc. So, there can be a lot of different themes, AND themes can be repeated if wanted.
The goal with this is to challenge yourself and have fun. We can fill the sprite database with more content, and maybe even inspire others to create more content for mugen. I know for myself that I do like to try and sprite, I use ages on things, but maybe it would motivate me to feel like I'm doing something for a reason.
Now. What would you think about this idea?
