Hi again !
I followed some of Fede de 10's remarks, and changed some stuff: - I changed the stance for a more original one. I hope you like it. - I changed the rifle anim, because yes, it was ugly. Hope this one is better. - I finally got rid of the bug during the ricochet attacks (or at least I hope so) - I fixed some palettes issues that I didn't see before.
If you prefer the old version, no worry, the links still here, the only absolute upgrade is just the bug fix, the rest is more a liking.
you used my palettes???

No, sorry, I should, especially for my empty palettes, but I prefer letting people decide what they prefer I hope it was not too painful for you to do, I always try to make my characters with the possibility for you to do palettes in mind

It's my own ignorance with palettes when I started, it always create monstrous colors on the first palette The rest of the palettes are handmade, and thus, cleaner

I like a character, but... Perhaps you need to do something with a stance. I don't know why, but perhaps other position would be better for him? Just my opinion. It is still amazing work.

Which one ? I changed it already, so there are 2 versions with two different stances. I'm sure one of them might fit your tastes. If not, you might like the one made by gartanham, but you'll have to change it yourself, because I'm done with the char and I like my final stance, so I won't change it now. Feel free to modify it as you like

Hi Raijjin.
I finally had time to test this character and I have a lot of feedback to pass on to you.
First, I want to make one thing clear: I'm giving you feedback in a public way so that you can learn from mistakes and others too. I don't want to sound bad, but I know that a lot of people here have problems with feedback - they just don't accept it (and I've tried several times). I have no intention of harming you.
Points I would like to comment on:
- The position of his axis is wrong. Pay attention to the green line where Bullseye's foot is, that's where the topmost foot should be. Note that there is a space between the foot and the shadow (marked in pink) and this is impossible to happen - it is only possible if the character is flying.
- The hitboxes are wrong - notice that he is hunched forward, while the hitbox is upright.
- Practically ALL animations of him standing and crouching are misaligned, just notice how much he seems to "dance" while performing the moves. Compare his feet position on those two images and you understand
When you contacted me about using character programming, I said it was fine, as long as you made changes to the programming, inserted new things, and that the result was not something that is very common here at MMV (I know this will be a trigger for some people, but truth needs to be told): a character skin, a spriteswap.
But that's exactly what the result was: a skin, a sprite swap. And that's really, really bad. I know there are a lot of people here who don't care about this, who just want a "new" character, but these people are wrong - and I've tried, several times, to explain this. So I won't explain to them again, just for you.
He has several movements identical to the base, including wrong things, which end up affecting the quality not only of his work, but of mine too, since it was done on something I programmed.
I'll give you an example: - Notice how the projectile appears BEFORE it fires. Afterwards, the shot effect appears in the wrong position, and finally, the attack causes a slashing effect, which makes no sense. It made sense in Bullseye as he throws a blade.
Another example: - He uses the same grenade projectile that Bullseye uses, but in addition to the grenade appearing in the wrong frame (first image), where does it come from, from his wrist?
- It has THE SAME WALL JUMP WITH KICK as Bullseye, and even works THE SAME WAY. It's virtually the same movement.
- The hyper has the same issue witht the hitspark (on the original, it throws blades, this is why I've used slashing effect)
- Practically, all of his hypers are IDENTICAL to Bullseye's. You did exactly what I asked you not to do...
- The hyper of leaving the screen and appearing with a weapon in first person is identical
- The air hyper is EXACTLY the same
In the end, you did exactly what I asked you not to do. It's really annoying, really. I don't mind when someone makes a good version of something I programmed (like they did with Mega Man's Roll), but it bothers me when I see a result like that. In the case of Roll, the person used what they thought was good in my version and worked on it, making a unique version, and that's fine with me.
I know that you, in particular, didn't have a bad intention and even sent me the character by private message, but I didn't have time to test it.
But this kind of thing is very annoying for us creators, because it ends up discouraging us from creating something. I know the philosophy here is to edit anything, just to have something "new" (often with a very bad result) and not caring when some creator gives up, as long as there's someone who takes what was done and "makes a new character". However, this is a horrible thing (but I know that, for many people, there is no point in explaining it).
Be at peace, I don't intend to attack you.
I'll even give you a hint: when someone experienced stops what they're doing and gives you feedback, it's always good to at least listen, because we can learn something. It's like that with everyone, it was like that with me too - As Issac Newton said, "If I've seen further, it's by standing on the shoulders of giants." Don't be inspired by those who do the wrong things.
Thanks.

@O Ilusionista Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot, and it will help me do a better job. An from someone of your level, it's an honour. I'll just respond to a few key points:
- First of, the stance: I changed the stance quickly after some remarks from Fede de 10, but I didn't notice this mistake after posting it here. Already tired of changing links at every fix, I just put the latest version on the Archive. The stance is aligned now. I forgot about the hitbox though...
- The small mistakes like the bullet escaped my sight because I had to approximatively observe things. Your method will help me be better. -Forn the changes in gameplay, I'm really sorry it was notnenough for you. I have a few reasons for that though:
first of, when I chose your character originally because he was so close and so perfect for Deadshot. It was a long time ago (6 years ago or so) and I just wanted to swap your character...
second of, I had no idea how much changes you wanted. I thought changing one or two things would be enough to make them different... my bad...
third of, related to the first point, I had no idea what to change, except for the ricochet attacks. I mean, your character already had everything a Deadshot could. Even when looking at Injustice, the only idea that comes to my mind is "more ricochets ?"
finally, I'm not really a coder. I can just modify stuff to make it work, and just barely. So adding that ricochet attacks is already a miracle from my end !
- I don't change effects. I'm more of a sprite guy, and effects are barely on my area of expertise. I don't even have databases for effects. Yours where good, and it worked fine, so I didn't bother. My bad...
Anyway, thanks for all of this. I'm improving at each new release, and I'll try to better myself. I'm just a single dude however, and doing all of that stuff by myself while being self taught, so it's a bit hard to do everything. But I'll try my best. Thanks again for your feedback, it means a lot

I generally don't usually give returns... if I saw the errors after the update of the new stand (what the illusionist says is true) the axes are poorly calibrated... But cheer up, I see great potential in the character... I know that with a little more sprites it will improve incredibly. Take Illusionist's advice, they are very good... And I can give you an idea for the grenade (I know it's a bit tedious, but make him a little animation that throws the grenade as a punisher) that would be great And I repeat it again... if you need help, ask me... it will be a pleasure to help you.
