Man, I really want to help you in this game, I am just out of time But one idea would be to get rid of all transparent effects, to make the game feel more "MVC-ish".
Also, as I talked before, I would like to convert my The Spider character to this project too.

I'm excited about all the things you plan to add to the update my friend! I see that you are very focused especially on Green Goblin, I am curious to see how that will end.
As for the other characters, if I could choose something from LS to recreate in this new project, it would be the hyper rejuvenated vulture, although that will depend on you men!
I'll be on vacation soon, so maybe I can help if you need it.

It's cool you are working on green goblin and hobgoblin.
I think it will benefit to match the other quality chars in this game. I like the stance by ACEY but the rest is too spidermany and hob is older than that, but whatever minor or major you do would be a welcome addition
I still think they could play like the ryu and ken of the game since they are so similar.
One idea for an intro or outro is green goblin's broom stick but that is not very animated series like lol.
I'm still trying to figure out how they would play different..I need to watch the animated series again I guess.
maybe one stronger and one faster idk.
also it may have got lost in the sauce but one thing to make symbiote his own guy is to give him a rage meter like wolverine and beast from infinity mugen team.
I think that fits the animated series without too much work

... Bigpimp... I Don t remember if you fixed it but check the hobgoblin glider... Pay attention when hobgoblin is hit... In your old version The gilder seems to not follow him and disappear... Take the codes on our MMV version in download page

@Ilu i think only transparent effects are shockers and electros, but those would be really hard to replace, since some of them almost pixel perfect in many cases.. But I can see what you mean man
@Jspiderman yeah man, it seems to be good unique hyper. And the method is there also, like Acey rogue jacket. But 1 moment is she loses her jacket when gets into a custom state. So that could be a problem. But Arkadys archangel doesn't have that problem because he just not throwable I think
@Warecus, I think they were more or less the same. But GG should be a tad stronger. They have differences in their specials/hypers, but still have 1 exact same special and 1 exact same hyper. I want to also add flavor to 1 version of each to make them different. About basics though I want to keep them exactly the same. I have that Ryu and Ken, Subzero and Scorpion in mind also with those guys
@Shining, yeah man, I completely transfered hobgoblin to GG coding base. It is basically not hobgoblin anymore, but green Goblin with hobgoblin sprites sounds and special moves. No hobgoblin jank anymore
hmm, in new versions it is, yeah, true... i didn't notice that
Ark went pretty interesting way about it if you look closely when archangel gets into a custom state (getting thrown or whatever), it actually shows angel sprites, but with archangel smartpal pretty clever way to solve it... although not 100% clean. Acey did that rogue just loses her jacket. but i guess there still isn't a way do it legit, without tricks
he cant just drop his hair on the floor, so i guess Ark's way is the only way here ill have to think about it, if its worth it honestly

Update: I tried it guys, make a smartphone for vulture custom state hair, and I don't know if I should laugh or cry about it

So I definitely think it is not worth the full hyper, considering the amount of work it would require also. Will be just a winpose for now
On the good news, Wil.li.an again tipped me off to a good base, which is basically mvc shaded open source Hugo from sf3 called Andore Jr. So you can just compare how much more natural shading on the arms look. Rhino intro is done, for now I'm not really sure if I will add anything else to him [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
But potential of adding anything without issues is there now
Goblins and Hydro man just need more attention

Wow! very good sprite edits. I share a sprite that I edited as a spider pig (spider ham). it can be used in a transformation at lose the final round like CVS Chaos vs Athena or Red Armer.

likewise man, i wish you were more active with some of your mugen work, but i know real life gets busier and maybe you working on something in secret, as usual?
but yeah i agree goblins can see some improvements, and hydro just missing those last final touches (i know Jspiderman got busy with his university life, so he couldnt really spend as much time on this guy as he wanted to)

and regarding vulture, i thought about it i mean there are some ways to do it. make him unthrowable. or in a closed game it would be possible i think just to add all custom states into vulture himself
but game is not closed and will not be, and making him unthrowable will make him kinda like those old versions of minigames, if you remember guys (when half of characters specials and hypers just would not work, seemingly missing). i mean that could be the effect, like he is so young and agile he dodges half of those specials/hypers and all throws... but it just seems broken, not good imo. half of the moves will still work, other half will not, and for regular player there will be no way to tell what will work and what will not. just seems no good way to do it

yeah! University has been quite demanding for me this last semester, luckily I will be completely free next week, meanwhile keep up the good work my friend!
Speaking of the vulture, maybe a change of focus regarding the hyper could help: I think it could be something similar to Dimitri's midnight bliss, a close grapple that heals the vulture while it is young for a few moments and when the hyper is over it ages again (as it happened in the animated series) I'm talking about the rejuvenate animation only happening when the action occurs. Damn! I would really like to do an animation to better explain what I'm talking about @bigpimp did you use any sprite base for the vulture's long hair? maybe i can do something quick tomorrow, I really wouldn't like this idea to just sit on the shelf
