I prefer new chars my friend...we got a lot hulks, wolverine, spiderman, captain america etc etc I prefer new character Marvel or DC! only that!
This Captain America is for our full game and we're tackling the entire MvC2 roster so quite obviously Captain America was going to be added in. But this Cap won't work in any other regular mugen and is instead exclusive to this game. We also have added in new characters that has never been done in this style before that but you would have to actually play the game and look at the roster to know that.

So regarding that there are new characters in this style. We mainly build them from the ground up so they're not juat edits since we do have to recode a lot of moves to work with Vs Style. So for characters that has never been made before in this style there is Madoka, Mario Mario by Sean Altly, Marisa and Tenshi from Touhou, SNK characters like Shingo, King, Rock Howard, ect. There are plenty of new characters and we have a lot more coming so stay tuned bud. Hope you enjoy what's to come.

Look forward to a trailer coming... eventually. I have quite a bit of footage to record and editing to do.

I love 087’s chars. Will check out the game but disappointed they won’t work outside in regular Mugen. Will they receive independent releases to work in personal rosters in case we like this Cap over the others, etc?

Maybe they will, you never know. I’m not against it, it’s open source after al. Regardless I hope that our hard work pays off despite the fact that they are full game locked. I’d rather not have it go to waste just because it’s not available for regular MUGEN.

Rouge is a heavy WIP still. I can't remember at all if I've shared progress on her here before. But hey, enjoy her doing an intro, and then getting slammed into the ground by Alex. :0

I like that animation. Heard Rouge's sprites are already done, so I look forward for the full version. That's VS Style's first scratch-made character isn't it? I've been actually playing the latest release a lot, and this looks like the first one that isn't taking an already-made character as a reference.
Love that game by the way, I've been toying a lot with the recent DLC characters. Rock especially, so I think Rouge will be quite fun to play with.

Technically yes! First character made using original, never before used sprites. Which means the creation process takes way longer. But it'll be way more worth it in the end! Countgate did a phenomenal job on the assets and I hope I'm putting them to good use.
And glad to hear you like the game! Hopefully the next update will be even more fun, a lot more polish has gone into the game (and of course there will be tons of new characters). Glad you like Rock too, I had a lot of fun coding him!

I'm glad you like the game, the new update will definitely introduce a lot of new characters from various franchises that I think a lot of people will enjoy.

Hi I'm alive, most people don't know outside of Discord but my health has been in the tubes and I stopped MUGEN work for several months leading up to some surgery.
I'm cool now and am back to working on stuff, so here's this.
