| This is an interesting idea though I never liked the frame over the avatar because it restricts the avatar to just this space. Though maybe the forum might like this idea. | |

| I dunno. I have a "Sword" avatar at IMT. It's ok, it works for me well enough, but I think what convinced me to use it in the first place was that it was clear and customizable. Rather than just TELL you what I like about it, I'll post it here and SHOW you too. For those of you that don't know, they start off with an empty template. (These can come in varying sizes and styles) Mine progressed like this: ==> ==> ==> What I like about it, is I was free to use any color, any texture, and more than one image if I wanted, while still looking like it belonged to a group. It all depended on my Photoshop ability. (Looking at these, I'm due for an update, yikes!) It didn't even have to be constrained to the "lines" of the template. The problem is, is it can look a little big, or loud. Sometimes the avatars at certain forums get a little out of control. I love customization and control, even if it's just with an avatar. I'm not saying we need to do something like blatantly ripping off IMT because we're NOT them and we have our own identity, but if we can ALSO have templates that allow us to show off our individual styles, that might be something. Just a thought. OK, now I'm rambling. | |

| I like the idea, but I agree with Ax " it restricts the avatar to just this space". But this isn't a real problem (cause I like that template), if more people like and use this, I will use too | |

| I tried the normal template with my profile photo, but I think it was... too simple. So, I tried to edit it a little haha What do you think? | |
