Subject: An Ikemen Go section. February 6th 2021, 12:08 pm
Hi, my name is Edwin and I'm been tweaking stuff in Ikemen Go for a year, I released two ports on that engine of Mugen Games and also made other stuff like scripts and a tag system for Ikemen Go and I am helping with code in other two full game projects.
In my youtube channel, I was told MMV is a good community and I registered here. I'm surprised Ikemen Go does not have its own section here yet I would like to collaborate with it, maybe below the OpenBor.
Why is Ikemen GO that important? I think the most important thing in Ikemen GO is that is open source. Anyone can see the low-level code on it and anyone can make changes to improve or enhance the engine. Also, it has an MIT license which clears the path for commercial projects. For now, it has two low-level devs fixing bugs and bringing new functions and code tools. As you know is retro-compatible with Mugen Stuff, IMHO to a 95% level. It is compatible with Linux/MAC/WIndows with the possibility of being in Raspberry and Android in the future, who knows maybe consoles.
There is stuff to be done yet like fixing delta and parallax in stages and a few sctrls that still need works but as the community grows devs can receive quality feedback to improve the engine.
So I would like to help with a pinned post where all the info for people interested is at hand, the engine, important links, tutorials, full games, code, sprites, etc.
Thank you for reading.

Hello and welcome to the forum. We have had only a few people that have posted so far about Ikemen here (other than me) but would welcome it.. I'll figure out what we should do with a section, and your suggestion is probably what we will go with. If it increases in popularity we can always add sub-sections.
I personally love everything they are doing with Ikemen so far, I just wish Ikemen and mugenhook features were combined.

Double posting, but moving topic to new section...
I made this post, no links since I am new. I think It is a good start to gather interest around the engine so if you can pin it, I'll try to keep it up to date and help people there.
