New Mugen version in progress.......is it true?

Do you know something about a new version of Mugen in progress?

Not that the public is aware of.
Elecbyte has been absent for years again (since shortly after the 1.1 release)


Mugen is NOT open source, so only Elecbyte and their team can modify the Mugen program.
This is THE reason there are so many people programming Ikemen.

Ikemen is the only current hope of a new Mugen version (even though it is technically Ikemen, not mugen).
Well worth the switch for all the bells and whistles

does anybody remember seeing some mugen style overlay for the unreal engine a few years ago?

I don't know I think he will come back. Remember how long winmugen was around for before we even saw 1.0 (I do not miss that sound glitch with the plugins). It was at least ten years on winmugen .1.0 I believe is around 8 years old now n 1.1 around 6ish years or so.. I saw if we don't get a new version of Mugen In the next 3 years than ikemen might be the next thing.
