Here is an unbiased quick history of the scruffydragon team and magus comeback. I have left a ton out, this is just the quick version (without the drama).

For those that don't know the history of Scruffydragon and Magus. They have been around (with a Hiatus) since mugen's infancy. Magus has had quite a bit of bad luck throughout the years with leaks, and flat out stolen material. When they disappeared, a lot of them (the team) went on with their lives, there was some WIPs being made by team members that got left behind. All of them moved on to the army, work, building a career, building a family, etc.

Magus (1 person) came back and decided to try and update, finish, create new, etc scruffydragon projects. He came back alone to try and complete the original dreams of a whole team. Along the way he was joined by Logansam.

He doesnt have to tell you why he isnt working on a character, if its family or work or whatever he still doesnt have to tell you. also i did read your gladiator statement, but once again!!! magus was paid to finish a character for a person that RLY wanted it done, so he sent him the money and he worked on the character im sure the character was done way before we got because it wasnt for US. a single person PAID HIS OWN MONEY to get a character for HIMSELF. the fact that we got gladiator is a blessing. and not just that look at the quality of that character, it legit could have been ripped right from MSH or MVC its not just a spriteswap its not just cheap colors and bad coding its a complete character. ZVitor has a patreon that ppl pay him so he can have motivation to work on mugen and openbor. thats paying him and even your new argument damian has been a wip FOREVER he just started showing vids of him recently (Not that i am complaining way to go zvitor)

in closing my only point is respect ppls wishes. this entitled attitude is why we stopped getting quality characters from logansam, its why the GK project will never see the light of day. these men and women work hard and instead of being grateful and being patient we complain and say gimme this now.

I do not complain,the private life is that!! I only say that they do not respect the spirit of this hobby, mainly when lying and promising things ... that they do not comply and they only want money ... that for me is not the spirit of this hobby.

I thought they were due to their fans, there are many creators that despite of a crib from someone, they still releasing beauty artworks for us, their fans. I don't care if some lazy guy crib a creator's job, I'll always recognize the effort of the latter...
