Hello there !
I'm facing a problem while creating a stage: I added reflection because the characters are standing on a glass floor. It looks really cool and stuff.
My only problem is that the stage is a floating plateform that does not fill the totality of the lower screen, so the reflection overstep the plateform and goes into the empty air below. If this is not clear, here's a schematic (I don't want to spoil your suprise).
The goal would be to have the reflection cease in the empty spots, and ideally in the red zone too. Is there a way to do that ? I also tried to put a "yscale" like with shadows to stretch the reflection and avoid the empty zone (it's really small), but it was not designed that way.
Any idea is welcome, as I it would sucks to be forced to remove reflections just for that...

I don t know but try to Add new Sprite/animation in the Red zone The sprites they are in front of the camera and in foreground haven t reflections (they should not be the floor)

I thought about that, but wasn't sure it was possible. I'll try to see how to do that then. Thanks !

Ok, I did what you suggested, I separated the sprite and put it in front as layerno=1. And it worked really nice for most of it, but also create new problems: - as it is now in front of the players (despite being a ledge), I can't put it too high because there would be a chance of having a character feet hidden behind the ledge. - in the same vein, the reflection now stops clean to that new ledge, and it really shows... Another schematic, to explain better: As you can see, my arena is a circle (I should have specified that before). Ideally, the reflection would be only on the green part. However, I have no problem having one in the light blue part if needed. On the dark blue part it would look weird. For the time, the reflection is on the green and light blue part, but the new problem is the one I explained earlier
And with all of this, there is still reflection on the air part.
If someone has some "stage coding secret" for this, that would be nice

Mmm...i think you should improve the "Red" Sprite to avoid the reflections
Try to enlarge that Sprite

I can't, that's part of the whole stuff sadly... If you want, I can show you in private message what the deal is. But beware, you'll be spoiled on the stage ^^

Just to warn that I resolved the problem in the most cowardly way possible: I reduced a bit the bounds of the stage. Con: the stage is a bit smaller, and the characters are less close to the edge of the plateform Pro: It's justificable with the form of the arena, and it remove all of my problems with reflections, especially the one on air, as the reflection doesn't go further than the edge now.
Sorry for those in the future who will find this post and try to solve the same kind of problem
