Adding win quotes to chars?

is all i'd have to do is take the win quote stuff from a char that has it, edit it accordingly and insert into the CNS file of a char with no win quotes?

I think that's all you would have to do try and see

i guess i was just hoping to hear directly from someone who has inserted win quotes into a character that didnt have them

Kudos to LESSARD for this info.

Find the CNS file that has all the Constant information of the char:
[Data]
[Size]
[Velocity]
[Movement]

After [Movement] add what LESSARD shows:
[Quotes]
victory0 = "Tiger-Boy defeats volzzilla with ease!"
victory1 = "Volzzilla has a machine gun! Take cover!!!"
victory2 = "MMV is the place to be."

You can add as many quotes as you want, up to 99. The system will choose one at random.

And that's it!

To add specified quotes for certain chars, that's another issue.

You'll have to customize them yourself with creating your own Sprites...
They tend to be a lot less Fancy, but if you get good enough, they might
look even better then the Text Quotes you have by Default, however
I tend to find the Text Quotes by Default already do a perfectly good job at it...

So I never bothered creating Sprites for it myself...
I know other people have, though...
