This character is very underrated and the sprites are awesome. A moves list would be helpful. I think the hockey cross-check hyper should end with Sportsmaster shooting (maybe exploding) pucks at the opponent. Kamekaze's Casey Jones has similar moves. Also, GL Guy has a golf balls hyper that seems appropriate with modifications for Sportsmaster as a special or hyper.
Crouch hard punch misses at very close range. His throw seems off a bit. Maybe he should put a rope around the opponent's neck to swing them over. Special kick attack (don't know name) makes him appear to be floating.
I think the below flail-type weapon would also make a cool hyper for him. This character has a lot of great potential.
Also since his standing hard punch is a bat swing, just add some baseballs to it like below for another special or such.

I plan to code this character someday. Though there are things that still needs fixing but for now you did a fine work @shining
