Poison Ivy by Zvitor and Harbinger is a visual work of beauty. However, I found her gameplay a bit hacked up and decided to "fix" that.
Changelist:
- She now has a Hyper Combo Finish screen. Original sprites by Winane, edited by Swanky - several attacks weren't chaining together right, or had really weird hittimes. Fixed both. - Hitboxes for jMK and jHK made larger for more consistent air comboing - changed hitdef on cHP (launcher) to allow for juggling opponents, now costs 2 juggling points - made many of her attacks including basics, specials & even some hypers start up a little faster - as a result to her much improved damage ability, juggling points were toned down to 11 - her QCF KK comes out faster, ground foliage doesn't bind to player anymore to prevent it floating in the air - her QCF PP does not get removed on gethit. It is now a very potent tool to shut down close opponents - fixed a few missing numhelper triggers, reducing logspam - fixed a warning in statedef 12 - I think I also fixed a typo in her quotes...
A lot of Ivy's gameplay revolves around her Poison Kiss (236P). It is the main sources of combo chaining (or I'm just not good enough to use the rest of her kit). So basically it's sWP, sMK, sHKP, 236MP, sWP, sMK, sHP or something like that. Not really that deep a combosystem unless I missed something.

Where does this Swanky guy post? Is there another active mugen site aside from mmv and mugen arch?

I only see him in MFG (mugen fighter guild). I already left mugenarchv, since I (and most of my fellow countrymen) can't access it anymore. MFG is quite active. However, the atmosphere there is much different from here, and most ppl there (as I see it) tend to have more diverse interests (while MMV here are more of marvel & dc comics).

Hey everybody, Swanky here. Thanks for posting this here.
I have some issues with opening the spoiler tags on this forum, quoting still lists those however. Not sure why, but may be on my end.
I use MFG for releasing since I consider it the most public places to release stuff, mostly to have everything centralized and easy to access. I am actively lurking in the infinity mugen forums every now and then. Should probably make a topic sometime linking my stuff here. However, once I am done I plan on moving my personal download links over to moddb.com which I have been using to preserve my works for other games for a good time now, without issues.
That said, I am happy with the positive reception my edits are getting. They have been meant as personal edits for my own use first and foremost, to rectify a few shortcomings and inconsistencies I came across when playing with them, for some the edits kept getting so big I thought other people might enjoy these, too. So other people enjoying these as well I am grateful for.

PS: I'm a DC & Marvel comics fan (mostly DC, tho), and I love your edits. I hope to see more of your edits (especially those of DC comics characters). There are many DC & Marvel chars here, and I believe your touch will make them even better.

Glad you like them! Well, otherwise you probably wouldn't post them here.
I can't post links for the next seven days due to forum policies, so that topic will have to wait for a bit. It's not an issue, however, means I can probably update / upload a few more characters. And I still need to figure out a way to not want to bang my head against the table when updating Etrigan's sprites anyway.
There's another good amount of characters I've already mostly finished editing and that only need some more testing. In any event, please redirect any issues you find to me so I can take a look at these.
