[NEW] MUGEN MULTIVERSE CHAT ROOM! ** poll added **

Please keep in mind before reading that the XAT Chat will continue to stay where it is at, but this is a new, fresh approach on a chat for MMV. There are many more options and it is much more smoother!


The NEW chat room for Mugen Multiverse can be found here. It is very easy to join, change your name and sign up but I can always help you out when I am around if you need it!

There are two separate #channels where you all can have conversations. The first channel is the #mainlobby, where we can chat and discuss whatever, whenever. Our second channel is #mugennews where we can post mugen content, mugen releases and just about anything else related to that. Additionally, there is even a Voice Lounge where all you have to do is press on that and boom, it takes you right into the voice chat!

There are many more things that can be done with discord, such as fun little bots, new roles, commands, we can do much more in here then in xat but we understand xat is much more simple if anyone just wants to go down through the forum and have an easy chat without going anywhere.

We would love to see some members and get this active! Have fun and I'll be bumping this thread!

Currently we are testing some things out and we would appreciate some feedback on it!
In turn, if this gets popular enough this could maybe replace xat altogether!



There is also a sidebar on the forum if you scroll down and click on that, it works also!

yes everyone, would like some feedback like...

- general thoughts on discord
- keep both discord and xat, or not
- the widget in the forum sidebar (can't make it wider, but i can play with height)
- general thoughts on the widget being there
- now linked in headers instead of large xat

...or anything else related

I think we should create a poll to decide if we should keep discord, the xat or both... in any case i think this is important enough to be front page news, it's about time to change the front page as it's not christmas anymore, like that was months ago, will give feedback on the discord chat soon

i vote for the discord is better and the xat is a useless system, and about the front page mistah have a point...

Tested it. You can edit messages, and the chat history doesn't suddently go missing (so far), so instead of putting discord in the special features, i think discord should entirely replace the xat system

by the way, why does it need two text channels?
