Hey I recommend this SFC/SNES RPG BGM to your Sadness Madness MUGEN stage:
"The Reunion with Mother" in the G.O.D.: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ha Kikoe SFC/SNES RPG BGM.
Why? It is because from my experience with this SFC/SNES RPG, this BGM takes place when the hero met his mother who had become a mutant demon made by the bad guys, the tragic event was that the hero was forced to fight and kill his mutated mother in order to save the others...........very very very sad and mad which kind of matches your Sadness Madness MUGEN stage.........
