This is a mugenized The Beast, from the Kung Fu Hustle 2004 action comedy movie by Stephen Chow.

The Beast in the Kung Fu Hustle source movie is so hilariously overpowered. So I tried to make his MUGEN version as overpowered as possible to match his source movie self.
There are two (2) MUGEN versions available: - boss version (using the Custom_Kung_Fu_Hustle_The_Beast_boss.def) - normal version (using the Custom_Kung_Fu_Hustle_The_Beast_normal.def)
- boss version => The Beast's main ability is his "I can even stop bullets" super-human power. * in MUGEN, the Pause and SuperPause state controllers are used to slow down The Beast's attack movements * the in-game intro of this boss version shows The Beast's signature "bullet-catching" scene (a lot of Franken-spriting...) - normal version => The Beast's main ability, "I can even stop bullets" super-human power, is not available in this normal version * the in-game intro of this normal version shows The Beast's "If you find me a worthy opponent...I'll kill it for free. No charge." speech scene
!!! MUGEN The Beast doesn't have much combo-ability; in fact he doesn't need great combo-ability !!!
!!! I tried to make MUGEN The Beast A.I. weaker due to his overpowered MUGEN nature !!!
!!! MUGEN HitDef/Projectile priority setting (base values): normal moves => 4, special moves => 6, EX moves => 7 !!!
1) unique Kung Fu Hustle source movie overpowered features in MUGEN: - in boss version only, an ability to slow down MUGEN Enemy's attacks (longer distance for hyper moves; shorter distance for normal and special moves) and the effect is gone when MUGEN The Beast is guarding or getting hit !!! this forced MUGEN Enemy's slow-motion feature might give an illusion that MUGEN The Beast looks like an expert escapee and having total invincibility...he just happens to be able to do things before his MUGEN Enemy !!! - MUGEN The Beast can jump extremely fast - most of MUGEN The Beast's attacks can stop his MUGEN Enemy's non-Helper projectiles (single hit only) - some MUGEN The Beast's air get-hit states make him drop down much faster against his MUGEN Enemy's air combos - auto fall recovery in air whenever MUGEN The Beast's get-hit fall recover is allowed by his MUGEN Enemy's attacks - auto safe landing whenever MUGEN The Beast's get-hit fall recover is allowed by his MUGEN Enemy's attacks - MUGEN The Beast's ground guard velocities are made faster - some of MUGEN The Beast's moves are harder for his MUGEN Enemy to reverse and/or counter - some of MUGEN The Beast's moves have super-armor and auto-guard (yet he can still take damages)
2) useful movement tools - fast walking: press and hold forward, forward or press and hold backward, backward - high-speed jumping: press downward and hold upward - ground recovery rolls: press and hold forward/backward after being knocked down * MUGEN The Beast can be thrown by his MUGEN Enemy during the whole course - ground dodge: press any two (2) buttons * MUGEN The Beast can be hit by his MUGEN Enemy's throws before his dodge animation's 4th frame * MUGEN The Beast can be hit by his MUGEN Enemy's anything after his dodge animation's 4th frame * dodge can disable some screen pausing effect (MUGEN SuperPause/Pause)
3) normal moves - punch: button x/y/z - kick: button a/b/c - throw: close to MUGEN Enemy, hold forward/backward and press button x/y/z * grabbed MUGEN Enemy can use his/her/it MUGEN "recovery" command to escape MUGEN The Beast's normal throw - taunt: press start button * MUGEN The Beast can gain a MUGEN Power 100/1000 during so
4) special moves - Beast Machine-Gun Punch: downward, downward+forward, forward, button x/y/z * there are three (3) versions: forward-moving, non-moving, backward-moving - Beast Counter: downward, downward+backward, backward, button x/y/z * there is only one (1) version * press button x/y/z during so to return to his stance quickly * MUGEN The Beast can be thrown by his MUGEN Enemy during the whole course * MUGEN The Beast can still take damages by half - Beast High Kick: downward, downward+forward, forward, button a/b/c * there are three (3) versions: no projectile, non-moving projectile, moving projectile * hold the button c version to decide when to release the moving projectile * the button b version can be used as a knocked-down get up/wake up reversal move (gaining a 16 MUGEN game ticks of total invincibility) - Beast Toad-Style Headbutt: downward, downward+backward, backward, button a/b/c * there are three (3) versions: one-way, two-way, three-way * press button a/b/c during so (only after his first 1st toad sound) to return to his stance * if the MUGEN screen faster than his advancing speed then he stops in the middle * if his MUGEN Enemy is attacking during move contact then it won't push his MUGEN Enemy to the screen edge
4) EX moves (require and consume MUGEN Power 1000/3000) - EX High-Speed Jump-&-Stomp: press downward, downward, upward * it tracks his MUGEN Enemy's position when coming down from the air * his MUGEN Enemy must stand-guard this EX attack - EX Throw: close to MUGEN Enemy, hold forward/backward and press button x+y/y+z/x+z * upon being grabbed and hit, his MUGEN Victim is forced to answer a question: "Why did you hit me?" => MUGEN Victim pressing button x/y/z to give the "You are the bad guy!" answer (expect a punishment for MUGEN Enemy) or => MUGEN Victim pressing button a/b/c to give the "I'm sorry very much!" answer (expect a reward for both) ** punishment for MUGEN Enemy is an extra three (3) more punches by MUGEN The Beast, as seen in the source movie ** reward for both is a small MUGEN Power gain to MUGEN Enemy and a small MUGEN Life game to MUGEN The Beast !!! I included both male and female voices for the answers, however, some compatibility MUGEN code must be added to the target female MUGEN characters as the male voice is the default, please see the "custom state female voice support compatibility note.txt" for this MUGEN support !!! - EX Beast Machine-Gun Punch: downward, downward+forward, forward, button x+y/y+z/x+z * it tries to suck his MUGEN Enemy in during so (by a MUGEN Helper pusher) * it has super-armor and auto-guard (yet he can still take full damages) - EX Beast Counter: downward, downward+backward, backward, button x+y/y+z/x+z * press button x/y/z during so to return to his stance quickly * MUGEN The Beast can counter his MUGEN Enemy's (almost) anything during the whole course * MUGEN The Beast take no damages during the whole course - EX Beast High Kick: downward, downward+forward, forward, button a+b/b+c/a+c * there is only one (1) projectile -- a casino table set, as seen in the source movie * MUGEN The Beast can get hit before he gets the chance to kick-push the casino table set towards - EX Beast Toad-Style Headbutt: downward, downward+backward, backward, button a+b/b+c/a+c * it tracks his MUGEN Enemy's position when coming up from below the ground * his MUGEN Enemy must crouch-guard this EX attack * if his MUGEN Victim's MUGEN Life is low (i.e. MUGEN Life less than 100/1000) then a MUGEN Victim's death scene takes place, as seen in the source movie... ...but not so accurate because Sing didn't die in the source movie... !!! the death scene doesn't work on GM's SF3 Gill because of its Resurrection move (MUGEN AssertSpecial flag = NoKO) !!!
5) desperation move (MUGEN Power less than 1000/3000 and MUGEN Life less than 100/1000) - Sly Surrender: on ground only, press start button when getting hit by any MUGEN Enemy * MUGEN The Beast pretends to surrender and quickly does a dirty quick attack to kill his MUGEN Enemy with his hidden weapon, as seen in the source movie * totally invincible during the whole course * the dirty quick attack cannot be guarded at all and it is meant to kill !!! but, to play fair game, there is a 50/50 chance that MUGEN The Beast can make a mistake and can die right away, without doing any dirty quick attack !!!
custom state female voice support compatibility note here...:
For MUGEN The Beast's EX Throw, I included both male and female voices for the answers, however, some compatibility MUGEN code must be added to the target female MUGEN characters as the male voice is the default.
In order to have your target female MUGEN characters to answer to MUGEN The Beast's question in the correct female voice, you need to put this MUGEN code in your target female MUGEN characters' CNS file, preferably under [Statedef -2] (and [Statedef -1] & [Statedef -3] or even [Statedef 5900] if you want more MUGEN safety):

2D Fighter Maker can let creators/authors define a character's gender. But for now it is not possible in all current MUGEN builds, to my MUGEN knowledge...
My MUGEN idea is to make a permanent unique Explod in a known female MUGEN character, so when MUGEN The Beast is doing his EX Throw on her, the correct female voice can be used and heard instead of just the default male voice when its MUGEN code detects its grabbed MUGEN Victim's this unique Explod. I already try to use an Explod ID that is quite long.....in hope of making it as uncommon as possible for this MUGEN purpose...

Haven´t had time to test yet, but on your "custom state female voice support compatibility", take a look at Omegapsycho's Mortal Kombat Chars.
He has a config file in his Mortal Kombat chars where you can add female character namesto have the correct "FINISH HER" message. It´s rather easy, it would be part of "The Beast" and you don´t have to edit all female chars in your MUGEN...

No, only possible in a MUGEN full game, but... there is one big difference between your solution and OMEGAPSYCHOS one.
Like you said, it´s hardcoded into OMEGAPSYCHOS version. As a "downloader" of his MK chars you don´t have to do anything.
In your solution I have to open up every "target female MUGEN char" myself, find the right place in the CNS file and insert your code. Not anybody has the knowledge or confidence to do so.
Just my thoughts.

I understand what you mean.........if this is my MUGEN responsibility then I might do it on my side to try to add such MUGEN female voice support compatibility........but I won't add like 1000+ myself like OMEGAPSYCHO, I will just add a few ones and let the MUGEN users add more by themselves.......

You mean my old MUGEN stuff......like those made in the years of 2010-2011 right? Those are old and outdated now......I might try to update some of those in some future.........not sure though.....
Sorry I am more into Asian entertainment stuff like manga and anime...........because I am an Asian who grew up with entertainment stuff like manga and anime...........yet, I once helped update some MUGEN comics stuff like Hercules and Gorila Grodd and Amazo before. There is a chance that I might be able to do more such MUGEN updates of course.
