I've always wanted to see something crazy like MODOK Superior in MUGEN, so I took this into my own hands.

First off, a few things :

- I would like advice throughout most of this D:. This is my first project, and I'm not too good with spriting as it is. I'm decent, but not amazing.

- I will need someone to code this if it gets done.

- If you would like to contribute, PLEASE say something ><.

- The legs will be separate from the body in sprites.

Here is the moveset I made for him if he was in UMvC3. I will be using most of the moves on here for his moves in MUGEN, but not all of them.

MOVESET BASE

Here is the base sprite. It has no shading, lines, edges, etc. This is just what his body will look like. The legs will probably change along with most of the face. The hands I like, though. Give suggestions anyway.

What I will be doing is using Pivot 3, a stickfigure animator, to animate most of his attacks and such. I can use Pivot adeptly, so it will be no issue. When I create the animation I'll put it in an art program and sprite over it. I tried before and it makes it a whole lot easier to make animations.

What do you guys think? Will it be possible?

I also recently created an updated sprite with SOME shading.

Does anyone have any good advice for basic shading? When I shade it just looks grotesque and I despise it.
I will be making the legs shortly.

I don't even know if I'm continuing with this.
I have the moves and everything, but it's just hella' hard to work on. The body is easy to finish, but the leg animations e.e.

Well it looks like an amazing design. You could try for a bonus game add-on and save yourself the work but also get him out there in some way or another.

Maybe find this mugen character and draw modok inside some kind of armored vehicle. Then just code in something like Apocalypse's satellites

To shoot at the opponent as an obstacle?

Just an idea?

Although Modok doesn't require much animation editing to be completed as a fighting character. A lot of it can be re-used.
