Editing Mugen source code

I want to alter MUGEN's source code to fit the game's needs of new modes, stage style, etc. How do I go into MUGEN's code and change it?

Hmm... I would ask this question on an Elecbyte forum. o.o I can't think of a single person on this forum who would even probably know how to do that. O.o; However, it is an interesting question, and now even I await an answer. xD

I've seen several people do that. Mugen Story Mode is a good example.

Just looked into Mugen Story Mode... I have not the words for the epicness I just witnessed.

I wish it had a way to make a scene where you can select any character from the roster to fight a character. But it only limits to the character the person who made the story chose.
