Look, I love it here. Everyone's friendly, my MUGEN idols (Ax, C.Ryu, CVS Artist) reside here.
But I haven't accomplished anything.
Everyday, I see something a new character, stage, WIP, whatever.
But I've never seen anything from myself.
I'm probably just going to leave...

many people that take part in the community do not create anything. it is fine for you to be one of them and stick around.

Hey we all feel that way I still have my first character rep here...while my skills have improved I haven't been able to finish anything since, im still here when I can be though

Hey man don't worry if you don't make something right now, these things take time not all learned in few time, a lot learned in years but if you wanna learn here is a template made by Memo, is for beginners like make a character.

Heres a template for creating a P.O.T.s style character.

It includes everything nessesary,  plus slash sparks, slash sounds, and blood.
Custom Combo or Max Mode is selectable in the Custom .txt.
Has a Dramatic K.O. Pause FX Helper.

You can use this to create a char in same game play style as P.O.T.s or Divinewolf.

I felt the same way for a lo,g time and trust me when I say long. ,..been apart of the community since early 2000 and it. Wasn't until last year that I figured out that making pallets was my way to contribute, so it took almost thirteen years for me to give back,no need to leave,at all

Like what volzzilla said, you don't have to make and release some MUGEN stuff in order to "take part" in any MUGEN forums.  For example, replying to members' posts or giving feedback to some MUGEN releases already show your awesome presence.
