I need help creating characters! Please help!

Help wanted:  Teacher to assist in creation of characters in Fighter Factory 3.

So.... Yeah.

I am VERY new to M.U.G.E.N, and I can't create my own unique characters, stages, etc. I want to learn how to create my own characters. I would like a teacher to assist me in creating characters in Fighter Factory 3. Could anyone please help?

try just opening a character in fighter factory and messing around with stuff to get you started. Get familiar with the program and then take a look at the mugen documents that comes with your mugen and start reading in order. Then decide if you can do all that. It's not that hard but it requires effort.

Also, try to look at other characters' files too. It will help you understand how certain things work. Like teleporting, super pause, hyper background, hyper combo finish, etc. Just don't steal it.

So, I'm figuring out my major issue...
The gosh darn sprites!
It's hard, especially since I have horrible art skills. Any advice on that?

Spriting can be easy regardless of artistic skill. There is a method I use called frankenspriting, where you basically combine ready made parts into a new creation. It's basically just cut and paste.

try this tutorial, take it slow and pause frequently throughout the process.
