- The Wolverine is no more.
Rather, the man known as Logan will be no more, once Charles Soule and Steve McNiven finish him off in Marvel's "Death of Wolverine." Announced today via Entertainment Weekly, the four-issue, weekly series will recount exactly what happens when the ubiquitous X-Man/Avenger's foes realize he's been living -- some would say barely surviving -- without his legendary mutant healing power for the past year.
"For a long time, no matter who Wolverine was battling, he’s been the eternal victor," editor Mike Marts told EW. "He almost always comes out on top. Now he finally comes up against an adversary that he cannot win against, he cannot fight. What does that mean for this character who’s been around for hundred years?"
"I hope that when people finish it, they’ll feel like he died in a way that was true to him" Soule said, indicating that in his mind, at least, this is a definitive end for the character.. ""
"Death of Wolverine" kicks off September 3. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=52392

| if, if, if .. but I think if you are going to remove the marvel universe to logan quin says no going back ... as above facts and and most memorable, captain america, human torch, spider man recently ..... wolverin be the same ... it will bring back, because they can not bury their heroes and show the best panoramas latest superhuman, or that the future will bring to wolverin as is happening with the x-men .... nuisance, really ... si, si, si.. pero pienso, si lo van a eliminar del universo marvel a logan quin me dice que no va volver... como ya hechos anteriores y mas recordados, capitan america, antorcha humana, spider man recientemente..... wolverin sera lo mismo... lo traeran de vuelta, por que no pueden sepultar a sus heroes y mostrar mejores panoramas a los mas recientes superhumanos, o que traeran a wolverin del futuro como esta pasando con los x-men.... fastidio, en serio... | |

| yea, i'm sure he'll come back at some point. its just from what i understand, this is the first time they've killed him for a significant period?
not to mention, going to have a character of his magnitude gone for however long (year or so probably)

| I'm not agree with this: if I remember more before now marvel logan going to hell and this means that a demon possessed his body all mutants x-men girls for being able to bring back to revive again if his soul is in hell, officially dead, right? or correct me if I'm wrong ... siento no estar de acuerdo a esto: si mas recuerdo antes de marvel now logan va al infierno y esto quiere decir que un demonio poseia su cuerpo todas las mutantes de los x-men chicas para poderlo traer de vuelta para volver a revivir si su alma esta en el infierno, oficialmente esta muerto, no? o corrijanme si me equivoco... | |

not to mention, going to have a character of his magnitude gone for however long (year or so probably) Well i'm just not surprise anymore by comic book deaths. Superman and Batman both died and came back after a year or so. Spiderman (Peter) and Nightcrawler recently came back after "deaths" of some time. There are plenty of instances of this sort of thing like Cap America death during Civil War, so to me it just a cheap way to reboot a character or give them a fresh start. Hey even forgotten villains like the Abomination eventually find their way back just look a Sabretooth.
