| Got venom done just in time for you guys to enjoy him on the 4th! I would really like to thank spaceman and angelus silverhead for helping me with making sprites as with out these guys this venom would not have been possible. Some key points I would like to make about this Venom is that he is the classic eddie brock venom from as depicted in the 90s comics and cartoon and I did my best to represant this version of venom with all of his moves and abyltys from the older comics! | Sprites are solid, but there are a few gameplay issues.
QCF+X and QCF+Z (ground versions) go through the opponent if you're too close. EDIT: Same goes for QCB+PP. EDIT: And QCB+X. EDIT: And QCB+K.
Not sure if it's a huge deal, but QCF+PP (air version) seems to leave you really vulnerable after performing it.
Symbiote Coffin... I actually really like, but it's kind of not coded that great. It seems like it's unblockable, which is good for this, and dodgeable only with a well-timed superjump or teleport, which I really like, but it takes long enough to execute that you can just counterattack pretty easily, stopping the move. And, if you counter at the wrong time, your controls are totally locked until Venom hits again, which is very very not good.
And Varnage and The Madness just leave the opponent completely free to walk around during their long startup, so they're totally useless in gameplay. | |

| Varnage was actually spacemans idea and he wanted the carnage symbiote to fall from the sky so theres not much I can do to speed it up. I'll look into making the madness transform a little quicker in an update aswell as look into these other issues you have pinted out. thanks for the feedback. | |

| Sure there is. It's a coding thing. I don't know enough about coding, but many characters have a thing where the opponent is unable to move or react where the 'setup' part of the super move is taking place. Just look at any of them, really, and you'll know what I mean. Your characters don't seem to, it just isn't an issue on Carnage or Scream because all of their hypers are immediate, y'know? Just take a look at, say, any of Loganir's characters. They all have it. I think I'm talking about superpause, but I'm not positive. Would someone who knows how coding works please chime in? On the plus side, active camo is fantastic.EDIT: PMed what I think should be a fix.
