Subject: Soul Edge 2 Demo 1.0 A December 6th 2013, 7:24 pm
after months to get this game ready its finally here the demo 1.0 A of
SOUL EDGE 2
this game has
11 characters 7 stages
(I hope mi amigo chuchoryu-san does not mind if I use Seong Mi-Na for the game)
not every character has all of moves only 4 characters does not have throwing move
so have fun with soul edge 2 if you have any questions about the game you can always ask in the full game projects in soul calibur
next year 2014 the game will have more characters and stages with a release of demo 2.0
ENJOY!

thanks, i am very excited! downloading now!
also i read a little at mfg while scouting, ,and i noticed your thread.
in my opinion you shouldn't even acknowledge their pressuring, the fact is you have releases and that makes soul edge/calibur fans happy. believe me doing it their way means no releases for 3-6 years lol, i think i prefer betas in between while i wait that long; call me crazy
and that's from my mugen gamer perspective, not a creator perspective.
also, z2 characters are still getting updated over there since this October, imagine if those releases were still unreleased because the wips weren't perfect, so by that logic goku z2 would've taken 3 years for its first release
and that's only if Oct. update was the last one
if some members there can't accept that creators release betas while working on more and still updating then i feel sorry for them for being unable to enjoy a new character release.
i understand also their issue with missing features but it makes no sense since you are always updating and improving using feedback, meaning eventually they'll be completed, so i don't really see the problem in releasing betas. also your releases are playable and still fun for goodness sake
as for making sc/se characters well if it's going to be a 3d to 2d translation then not everything can crossover exactly especially for mugen which is fan made content, not a produced company franchise chain. those nit-picking guy's expectations are ridiculously high
they need to take this hobby less serious for their own good.

When Goku Z2 was released he was already finished @Ax The updates they are giving to him are bug fixes and additional moves/win poses/special intros etc.
I also completely agree with what was said there, these characters are way too unfinished, with some being more finished that the others, which creates an unbalanced game when the other character has a bunch of moves while the other one has 1 special attack. No offense man,but you should really finish one of these characters. I get that you might have gotten bored of doing a particular char so you started another one ,but you will have to get back to the 1st one eventually, and making a bunch of betas is just making your work much more difficult

If a character needs additional moves, bug fixes, win poses, and special intros then the character isn't done. Obviously. The character has a lot done and many fixes but if it still needs updates than it's still a wip. w.i.p. means a "work in progress"
To say otherwise is making up excuses, com'on
Also the work load is the same, betas or no betas. The creator still has the beta and he has to keep updating it every time he wants more progress.
sharing the updated beta is just sharing progress, which hey I like that. Again, something is better than nothing at all.

its just a demo...you should expect characters not to be completed...or are you new mugen and how things work? if its not your cup of tea then dont play it but to criticize the way you did was unnecessary

still the point is...its just a demo...he deserves credit where credit is due...the characters, tho not finished, are pretty cool to have in mugen and that fact that he is doing this by himself mostly says alot in my book...
