| Before MMV Month of Madness, the news block on the forum index was always limited to 1 row. After the event began, we extended it to 2 rows for all the other news needing to be relayed. We would like to know if our community prefers 1 row like it was before, or if you like the 2 rows of images as it is now. Thank you | |

| For me it's too crowded. Don't get me wrong it looked good for the event but after a while I just becomes messy... | |

| That's the front page portal, not the forum index news block, the news block is at the top of the forum under the banner, where there is just .gif animations of characters currently being worked on.
However, I agree, the front page does lag. That changes whenever we have a new event. So having all that stuff accumulate can be a lot to handle. I think a few of us are working on X-Mas stuff unofficially so maybe we'll put something together last minute, if there is enough stuff, to replace the last event with something less cluttered.

| I'll eventually streamline the front page like done with summer topic. But it a very herculian task to do so, so been putting it off.
Regarding the newsblock on the forum index, the only way we'll go back to 1 row is if a large percentage of people give feedback to do so here. That is why made the topic.
However, will not structure the 2 current rows to newer things on the top. Why? Want to organize them all to where can give the best visual aesthetic to the things listed.

| I wasn't referring to the front page by the way, so you've got my vote. No offence to anyone but it just gets too cluttered and becomes a bit of an eye sore, especially when some pics are different sizes, some are animated, some are not. | |

| Last call.
If anyone doesn't like 2 rows of items in the forum index news block, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Um, 2 total people expressed interest in not having 2 rows anymore, not a large percentage as spoke of before. And last call was made more than a week ago. Barring a ton of people replying in this topic to express having only 1 row, 2 rows is here to stay (especially considering the next couple days will have a lot of new additions/changes)

| Apologies for no new content in the news block lately. Had computer trouble for a little bit, then a personal matter.
Will try to update this today.
