Hello friends, following up on the MMV birthday reveals, I am happy to inform you that I will continue the sprite work on Dagger from Doom and esn23.

I still think that Cloak and Dagger should be a "two in one" character, but it's still nice to see this character developed with such amazing sprites !

Well, there are three of us now, Cloak will be present in one way or another in his moveset, although Cloak's sprites will probably have to be made from scratch, if you have any ideas with that it would be very helpful!

You're in luck, I thought of it a bit ago, and I think it's an easy one: you use Jyashinsai from Kabuki Klash as a base [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Make the inside of the cloak black, use that black to erase the whole body, add the head made by Riklaionel years ago, and color everything. I estimate that at like 10min by sprite, so quite quick.
I don't know if you can do that (never understood how it was made) but if you can make Cloak constant on the field like the wolf of Snake Commando, that would be perfect.
I'm usually not into making Marvel characters (too much of DC lacking), but if you need help with sprites on that one, you can count me in

About cloak you won t Need a lot of sprites ( consider he floats so you don t Need walking forward and back ) ...so you Need float , winning pose, lose pose and hyper sprites

Maybe a bit further than that, with some special moves or interventions (like a parry)

cloak and dagger should be two different chars, not in one. they are together in the comics. but it s two people.

No way they are almost never separate in comics and in mvc3 they were gonna be one character

Regarding whether they should go together or separately, I also think it should be a "two in one" char, something like Chang & Choi in SNK vs Capcom 2
On the other hand, I am not very sure if cloak should be present all the time on the screen, it is certainly something that could be done, however, when it interacts in special movements or Hypers, it could be somewhat complicated in a matter of codes.
Speaking of codes @LESSARD could be the encoder of the char, so if so this aspect would also be covered

Don t worry i coded mr miracle with big barda (with cable and Hope codes) and i did not find It Too hard to code I think you Will be able to make them
Then if lessard Will partecipate on codes surely It Will be a success
