MMV's 2023 Birthday Event: Johnny Quick release

Hello there !

Here's my first contribution to this event: Johnny Quick, from DC's Crime Syndicate !


It's what I'll call now an enhanced spriteswap/ sprite modification, meaning I used a character as a base, and added/ changed some of the moves to make something different the best I could with my (limited) coding abilities.
So he's a sprite/sound modification of Zvitor's Quicksilver, with 2 new Hypers that I'll let you discover.  
I want to especially thank Shining here for helping me to add the totally new Hyper, "Speed Drug".  

I used this character creation as an opportunity to experiment with smart palettes. So I don't want to brag or anything, but I'm really proud of what I achieved here. To explain it shortly: following the palette you use, you can play any iteration of Johnny Quick ever made !

Okay, good luck with that ! Most of the palette is quite clear to understand, but the helmet can be a bit messy and complicated, so I wish you the best

And yeah, it is an evil version of the Flash from a parallel earth

Amaizing surprize. I like all these characters from "Nega-Verse", he-he... Besides, good to know, that my Ultraman (Superman Beyond) could have a good match with him.)))

This char looks great.

Excellent job bro. For me it was an incredible surprise, I don't know much about the character but I've always been intrigued since I saw an animated syndicate movie, I just remember that his suit was yellow?! maybe in the comics it's different? I really liked the char, thanks for sharing it

Yeah, the styles in this movie were quite original compared to the comics.
But rest assured, like I said, I made every version ever made thanks to the smart palette.
You'll find the movie version at the palette 4 I think. No hair tho, there are limits to smart palettes
